It was a show made just for kids, unlike sesame street which was suppose to be something adults watched with kids. Blues clues didn't play with that...they went straight for making sure the content was only about children watching. It worked! I remember my baby sister guessing everything on the first clue and being annoyed.

I'm from Indonesia, born and raised, but I watched blues clues as a kid, with Steve and Joe. It's Steve. He has that calming charismatic voice that touches your heart. He seems like a really good guy. When Steve quit blues clues, he said he knew it was time for him to stop because nobody should stay that long on a tv show, especially for kids. I'm so proud because he knew what enough was. Eventhough eventually it broke many hearts. Now my kids watch Blues Clues and You. Different vibe, but still good show

Makes sense since Blue’s Clues was actually inspired by Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood (and Mister Rogers himself liked it).

There's a T.V. trio of pure positivity & wholesomeness: Mr. Rogers, Bob Ross, & Steve Irwin. I think it's high time Steve is added to the group & it becomes a quartet.

You have all done so much since then, and you are helping to shape (or rather, correct) the world for the better. You should be very proud of yourselves.

@Jorge Chavez 80s babies 100% watched the show 😂 you can see it in all the comments. Steve blue clues definitely a childhood millennial show. 80s babies and 90s watched it. Only millennials remember the 90s and early 2000s

I’m about to be 24 and I’m still bawling my eyes out everytime I see the video from Twitter and this video as well. He really impacted my life. I watched him in Blues clues when I was getting beaten and abused by all my family and being disciplined til I had bruises everywhere. I was also bullied all my life in school so I didn’t have a break when I came home and didn’t have a break when I went to school either. This show was my escape from the real hell I was living… I had learning disabilities too so the mannerisms and the way the whole show was set up was perfect cause I got to learn slowly and with patience. So to watch this show and remember how comforted I truly felt by Steve and Blue really hit my spirit. This show really saved me and got me through the worst childhood of my life. I’m a better woman now and grew from it all and actually am living more peacefully and gracefully 🥰💯

Seeing Steve alive, well, and in that Blues Clues setting again almost made me fall apart. I'm 27 now, and I lost my Mom in January, but I was reminded of how she used to sit my sister and I down in front of the TV at 3 and 5 years-old, and we would enjoy every minute of Blues Clues. She made that show a huge part of my childhood and it's one of the many amazing things that she did for us. Life is definitely hard, Steve, but these small gestures and flashbacks to the bright side of my childhood are highly appreciated. None of us should be afraid to admit that... ❤

Year later rewatching this video & was able to meet him this year!! 🥹🤩🤭 1 of my biggest inspirations & childhood heroes growing up. Watching his show helped me through the tough times during my childhood being in a toxic environment with family & being bullied by kids from school. He sounded so reassuring & comforting when I watched his show at the time. & it was a huge pleasure & honor meeting him 🥹🥲.
