At some point when Julien was describing Lettie, I looked over to the right, where Jenna's "Making Clip-in Bangs Work For Me" and it was surprisingly funny, because it sounded like he was describing thumbnail Jenna. "She needs a lot of reassurance, like what she's doing is okay. She doesn't know things are for her yet. She smiles when she's excited, and it's super cute."

That makes me so sad every time I hear about or see a foster greyhound, they’re either getting off the track or are no longer being used as a blood donor. They are probably the sweetest, most gentle and loving dogs I’ve ever met. It kills me that most of them are not shown the love they deserve, I would love more than anything to adopt one someday ❤️

@@shrimplythebest trust me, racing greys get a ton of love at good tracks!! they usually hang with groups of dogs in large areas, so i imagine the transition to a smaller home with less animals is a little daunting for them :) greys are such sweet animals, i’m excited to get a retired racer someday.

my greyhound howie died last monday, we rescued him when he was 3 and we had him for 5 years. he was the sweetest most affectionate boy and my heart breaks at his loss, but seeing this sweet girl in a new home with good parents makes me remember what we did for howie and it warms my heart a little more. lettie is a beautiful girl i hope she has the best time with you guys ❤️

She just went to the vet a couple days ago and had a bit of a fever but was discharged

Yeah her road to recovery has been pretty rocky, but she's walking unassisted and going to physical therapy, so she's doing great all things considered! But I second this, I'm here for any and all dog content, especially Marbles.

She looks like my first foster boy, Ranger (TC Rangers). He took a piece of my heart with him when he was adopted, he wasn’t far and I was able to watch him over holidays while his parents travelled. I will FOREVER be grateful for Jenna and Julien for introducing me to something as meaningful, rewarding and amazing as fostering greyhounds. Good luck on your journey Lettie!!!!

I recently adopted a greyhound, his name is Kevin, he’s an ex-racer who had never been in a home, didn’t have a name, and didn’t know how to play. He is the sweetest thing and he’s settled in so well, minus some some disturbance at night. Greyhounds are just one of the sweetest breeds. Knowing that you and Jenna are rescuing so many of them is honestly so wonderful 🥰 they really do deserve the best lives

Aww! So glad you got Lettie. I have a rescue cat that was like that, and now she is the most cuddly, loving kitty. I also just got a foster dog and he's really timid. I fostered him when he was a puppy, but then he got adopted. Well, now he is back and I saw him at the shelter again and had to foster him again. He had already been at the shelter for a bit and he didn't eat for like three days when I first got him because he just needed to unwind. It is definitely special to foster animals in need.

as someone who's rescued and fostered greyhounds for a very long time, this makes me so happy. greyhounds are the sweetest, silliest pups, and so many of them have so much trauma from the track and need good homes. you're dead on about the needing reassurance bit, especially dogs that have a lot of fear or anxiety. they require a lot of patience, but it's so worth it to see them gain more confidence and comfort. it's obvious that you guys care deeply about these babies, it makes me so happy to see them getting the love they deserve ❤

I’m so glad you guys do this! Lettie sounds a lot like me, unsure about everything. We just took in a dog that needed to be re-homed. She was supposed to house trained but is really struggling to not potty in the house, so we are having to treat her like a puppy until she gets it down. Our other rescue has been with us 7 years and is showing her what to do, but she seems uninterested by his skills.😆 I can’t imagine all the complications you guys deal with! I’m thankful for all the people who foster and rescue! Hopefully the more we discuss these issues the more people will refrain from purchasing and breeding dogs, and will adopt instead. 💕

Lettie sounds like my rescue husky, she was so timid and didn't really know how to be a dog, had my girl Winnie about 9 months now and she's a completely different pup, shes the most loving and trusting dog I've ever had. I cant wait to see beautiful lettie come out of her shell.

Lettie looks so much like my boy Nelson who passed a couple years ago! I'm lucky to have had him for 5 years and he truly blessed my life. His racing name was Gamer Dude Nelson and he was from Daytona Beach where he was severely abused, but he ended up turning into my heart dog. We've since adopted a senior greyhound who is a retired racer named Jay!
