I watched the original Dexter series on and off over during its initial run. Showtime money was not always in the budget back in the day. Decisions had to be made. All these years later, I have Paramount+ with Showtime, I have stepped back into the Dexter universe by watching Dexter : Original Sin. I love this show. Seeing actors from the Christian Slater, Patrick Dempsey, Christina Milian and Sarah Michelle Gellar on the same show is the gift I did not know I needed. Patrick Gibson is doing a great job as young Dexter. I am captivated by this show every week.

This casting was legit bang on though. All of them so far. I 2as worried about this show but it’s definitely got the Dexter vibe and it’s really setting up his relationship with Batista so I guarantee we are getting that new blood ending we all wanted in Dexter: resurrection… They’re just making sure it’s all the more tragic. He had a good relationship with Batista in the earlier seasons, closer than I realised originally, nothing weird, just proper friends.
