Karen, in 2019 I didn’t know who you were. I took my grand daughter to trunk or treat at my church in October 2019 and a white feather floated by. I showed my 6 year old grand daughter but she wasn’t impressed. Hurt my feelings she didn’t have child like joy in my feather I found. At the same time I had started a prayer group at my church, but only knew sweet church prayers. I’d been praying for my 2 sons to end a 7 year falling out and for God to restore my family. I got trapped in a cycle learning ABOUT God and not believing He would do anything for me. He COULD but probably wouldn’t. 3 days later I search utube for more stuff about God and ran into you. “Hello my front porch friend…”. It was your story about the feather… asking God for a tool to bring Lyndsey home. I bought your book and have been warring for my promise of a restored family ever since. A few months ago it ALMOST happened but a Jezebel spirit blocked us. For a while, I felt hope deferred but because of your faithful encouragement I’m still praying for this miracle. Our dtr in law doesn't permit our only child or only grandchildren to have a relationship w/us. Thank you for sharing Karen. It's the early hours of the morning & the Lord knows I'm not a morning person so I've got to be awake for a reason! I've been led to listen to the latest installment of the front porch. What can one say other than the Lord knows what we need when we need it. In what has become the most intense fight for the restoration of my family this word from God is the encouragement my spirit has needed. In the sweet way that God does it, the chorus of a song, which is not one I listen to often or is on my playlist comes to mind as soon as I finish listening to this Word - namely 'Abundantly More' by Northpoint Worship'. I search for the lyrics & begin to sing them out, then I come to the bridge which says: 'More than I could ask or seek More than I could fathom God Your love for me Is better than I imagined'!! I mean look at God & the way He's confirming His Word!! Be encouraged!
