I am 65 and quit racing in 2001. I've been watching these nuggets of wisdom for days now. I'm going to Croom in two days. It'll be interesting to see what I've retained. Thanx either way Ryno! Keep the shiny side up and rubber side down! Still living and breathing two stroke smoke!

when someone throws an apple at you naturally you just catch it, You don't think about it. For me that's how you should ride a bike, feel it not think it. Charge Life

Coming from an older rider, I have noticed that additionally, keeping my eyes looking forward and level "leads" the head which is followed by the spine and as you pointed out the body remains moving. Life is movement. ; )

What Coach said from 1:50-2:01 made me lose my composure COMPLETELY!Lmbo However, love the message...these serious inquisitions after each instruction from Ryno has brought so much more enjoyment and enthusiasm to learn and rip more daily!!!! Because of Ryno, I can rip this Honda 450cc 4t & TM Racing 300cc 2t without making them make ME, RIP. 🙏 Much appreciated, as always!!! Ryno Power is definitely being implemented on my new graphic kits for support!!! 💪💪💪💪💪💪💪

Sounds similar to boxing. A novice will hold his head steady and a clean punch knocks him out but an experienced boxer moves his head in the direction the punch will push it to lessen the blow.

I don't feel that my neck brace would limit my position in anyway. Brace type, neck lenght and helmet shape do all have huge affect

@ryan hughes I tried "finishing the movement" with the bike, but each time I do that my I extend my legs and end up getting off the pegs. why that happens?
@JohnHowerton137
@JohnHowerton137 3 жыл бұрын
Coming off the pegs w(could) be part of “finishing the movement” or “meeting the movement with movement.” It doesn’t matter that your feet come away from the pegs (outside of Flying-Ws 🤣). No law says that they need to stay there. Your feet NOT coming away w(could) be part of the “being stuck” idea. Obviously if they’re not recovering back to the peg upon landing and you’re losing control of the motorcycle, the idea has gone too far in the other direction. Hope that helps. As a more extreme example, watch some pro nationals on YT where there’s huge jump that’s hard to get over (LaRocco’s Leap?). As a rider extends and “lifts” the bike to squeeze the needed few extra feet to get over the jump that the engine couldn’t provide, you’ll see the feet lift 5-8” off the footpegs. Once lift is achieved the feet return to the pegs for landing.

Hey my friend. For your safety. Keep pinching the bike with at least your ankles until your back tire leaves the lip. Keeps you locked on. Or you will at some point fly like a "W" You can still be flowy and finish the movement. It's just now you'll do it WITH the bike as one flowy unit. Practice pinching bike until your back tire leaves the lip. You'll instantly feel it. Way safer... 🤙
