Don’t worry I’m single and some of my CLOSEST friends are married couples and I love them so much and they never worry about me doing something with their husbands because they know me. Not everyone is out to do bad stuff. It has benefited me to have married couples as friends. Also, you trust your husband so you don’t have to worry about anything. People saying these crazy things are saying Atti has no self control or that he is not faithful. You were in a long distance relationship so now they want to worry now that you are there? Oooo Liz I feel so sorry for you because I can relate sooooo much to you. I am an South African living in the U.K for the past 16 years. I came here with my Welsh husband and young daughter 16 years ago due to my husbands work. I had such big dreams and came with an open mind. I had heard before I came that it was difficult to make friend with the english people and was easier to make friends with foreigners in the U K. I was determent not to limit myself to one group. I thought it would be easy to start chatting to the other mothers at my daughters primary school here. I am just like you very open friendly and chatty. Just like you I thought the liked me, calling me love etc. I would then also think they liked me, but the next day they would be in their click and ignore me. I was so hurt through the years. I dont think they understand our bubbly personalities. I joined the gym, i joined some puppy classes with our new puppy. But could never got a friendship going. In South Africa I had lots of friends and fammily, we would visit each others houses. But not here, i have invited people, but they do not come. So now 16 years later, I have my daughter and husband and my daughters boyfriend as friends. I really tried hard, but have given up. Very lonely at times. But am in daily contact with my family and friends in South Africa. I have realized that most of the english people are very reserved not very friendly and will always see you as a foreigner. I grew up on a farm, but it is as if they are not interested in your history or as if they do not believe you. I honestly hope you would never lose your bubbly, kind wonderful personality. I sometime feel I have lost some of my confidence and bubblyness. I think you and your husband are wonderful, kind, caring people. It is difficult living here, the weather does not make it any better. Stay as sweet as you are. I just think a lot of people here do not understand our tipe of kind caring personalities. Stay strong. That’s good news it’s very important to make friends here in UK, I’ve been here over 20 yrs and have a close net of friends it was difficult at first but now still going strong. You have to get yourself out there to be able to meet people. The best thing I have now both UK and my Kenyan friends. I can count them all with my fingers. Small group of people you can call even at mid night or emergencies and they will pick up your call very important. Happy for you Liz pole pole tu 💕

I am an old soldier in the UK. My darling Liz....❤❤ do not be worried about making friends. Usually it's best making friends with other couples as you and your husband are already a team. Bringing someone whose not married it can either go both ways. Just be open minded. In the UK, friends can be good or can end up being your enemy. And try not to share too much. And my darling Liz....my advice is your best friend is your husband and thank me later 😘😘🌻

Liz remember that here the weather is not like in Africa so the snow here is very bad hence the buildings have been made to be very strong & high..If you look at their roofing its not as flat as in Africa because they can collapse due to heavy snow..If u see most buildings (if not all) are made of stones & or very strong facebricks,its all bcos of weather..thats why all Europe they have same type of buildings..In Africa u rarely find snow so even the modern structures they put here its still the same style..Indoors there is central heating( radiators)..Thats how cold winter is here🙉Enjoy UK & am sure in yo church u will make friends & as well when u start working u will meet friends dont worry..I love that u have adjusted very quick..Stay blessed guys..much love❤
