@Jus- Sayin He's pointing her in another direction because humans are not carnivores. Even if you see short term gains, over time (I'd say less than 10 years) your body will start to break down because meat cannot provide all of the nutrients we need. Losing weight is not the only factor in health. As Dr. Greger says about Keto, "the goal of weight loss shouldn't be to fit into a smaller casket". I think the people that are seeing short term success on carnivore or keto have severe food allergies to some common foods and they are removing that, however, that doesn't mean that they will see long term health. If anything, humans are Starchivores. We process starches like no other creature on this planet. We start to break down carbs in our saliva via the extra copies of the AMY1 gene. Don't misunderstand, we should steer clear of processed carbs, but we should eat whole plant carbs (potatoes, brown rice, whole wheat, oats).

I've lost only 3 pounds but I haven't been kicking myself for not losing more. After hearing what Chris had to say, I am now fully aware that I need to work toward OMAD as well as possible longer fasts and not as much fat as I have been consuming. But I must say that from the beginning of Carnivore, I have had absolutely no cravings for any carbs at all. When on calorie-counting, Weight Watchers and Keto, I always had cravings. Laura, I love your channel. I have been Paleo for 17 years - refining as I go along. When I added daily Intermittent fasting my weight became ideal, but I am still intrigued by your journey into Carnivore. I would love to hear about how you feed your children. The healing from disease is the part that calls to me. I've been a foodie and health enthusiast all my life and this is the biggest breakthrough in my lifetime! Thank you for sharing. You are a lovely couple.

Hello Laura and Chris, I am truly enjoying your videos. I happened to have your video suggested to me by KZbin because of watching carnavore videos. I forgot to comment on the one where you ftyed a ribeye stake in a cast iron frying pan. Thank you so much for sharing your stories. 💕 NonnaGrace

Truly inspirational story. I too have a companion in my journey to better long term health. I’ve been on Keto for 8 months and intermittent fasting for about 3 months. Loving the results. My husband recently started Keto to loose weight, but he is talking more about how much better he feels, specially his sleep. We are considering experimenting with carnivore. Thank you for sharing your story. Your mutual support and love is transparent and inspiring. God bless your family in health, mind, and spirit.

Sara, you won't be disappointed if you go strictly carnivore. With keto, I always had cravings that seemed to always plague me. With carnivore -- just like Chris said -- you have control. It truly is amazing. Bless you, though, in whatever path you choose.

I think the good thing about carnivore is your body can use gluceogenesis from the meat and eventually you can slip into ketosis more easily when youre not eating too

Thanks Chris for your openness. You're a great couple. I'm 66 and have had weight issues all my life. Nothing's worked but low carb/keto. I've lost 80 lbs in 10 months. I do 18/6, OMAD, and have started weekly 48s. My bp, lipids, inflammation and sleep apnea are resolving. Haven't felt this good since my early 20s. Just had a shoulder rotator cuff operation in August that I didn't allow to affect my progress. My dear wife has supported me all the way. She's lost some weight to a point she doesn't want to lose any more. She's a serious runner/athlete and in great shape. I'm attracted to carnivore and I could do it. The mainstream medical scene and dietary culture are so screwed up, we just have to block out that noise. Stay the course!

I was on keto for 2 days. Found Laura as I went down a rabbit hole on you tube. After watching this video I immediately switched to carnivore and omad. 2 month in now. I have doctor appointment in 1 more month to check all my numbers. This is what is holding me accountable . Can't wait to see my numbers. So far so good. Thanks Laura and Chris.

This has been wonderfully inspirational to listen too, being in a very similar position to how Chris was just now myself 😥 skint tags etc. Sleep on average 2 hrs a night for the past 20 years. Keep up the great videos. All the best from a very wet and windy Scotland 👍🏻

Chris has an amazing story to tell, he and I are almost the same person with very similar symptoms and ailments. My 3 month Keto journey has me down 30lbs and I'm very inspired by his story! Thank you.

Ha! You two are great. Thank you for sharing! I went from 247 pounds to 184 pounds 3 years ago on keto, and I'm back up to 204, which I've been maintaining for quite a while. But I'm going to go carnivore and see how it goes. Looking forward to it!
