I was really proud of myself the other day. We went to my grandson‘s birthday party at a pizza restaurant, and there was of course, all kinds of pizza that I could’ve had, but there was also birthday cake. I did not touch a single bite of either one. The way that I was able to successfully do this is right before we left to attend the birthday party I had a big carnivore meal with lots of fat and so for the entire duration of the birthday party, I was completely satiated, and there was very little temptation for me to eat pizza or birthday cake. This is a good way to tackle those social situations where you know there will be food that will tempt you. Eat a large carnivore meal before you go. It really really helps.

Even though they haven’t been as strict as i would like, cutting out the snacks ( or reducing them to Sunday) increasing the meat, and not pushing vegies has brought peace to the family dinner table. No more talk about " if you would only eat more veggies and exercise more you would lose weight". I am now confident about what i teach my kids. @@laurabrock1249 How long have you been eating carnivore ?
@laurabrock12492 ай бұрын
As with most people when I started transforming my health I started keto(I referred to it as Adkins) as carbs came from non starchy vegetables. I personally thought eating only meat and going OMAD was a line of B.S. Switching to carnivore was a natural transition because if I tried eating more "healthy" vegetables I found it non-satiating. I literally traded the place that veggies took on my plate with meat. This natural progression started June of 2023. I find it ridiculously easy to maintain. I love the way Dr.Berry uses Proper Human Diet spectrum, as a way of finding your own personal carb threshold, this is exactly the way it happened for me, time and my tastes dictated my carnivore transition. I didn't have a regimented time table I was meeting. I took the science out of the process and just ate (and still eat) what makes my body feel best. When I first saw Dr. Berry, Chaffee, and others, I thought they were spouting B.S. When people realize what Berry and other influencers are talking of, " real whole food that is sold in your local grocery store with no supplementation products to purchase" it is going to change their lives as healthy individuals. I don't eat beef hardly at all just from a cost stand point. I eat mostly venison ( I help manage a ranch on weekends where through permits we harvest over 100 deer per year). What I usually purchase at the HEB is pork loin, chicken liver, gizzards, occasional sausage. I apologize this got long, carnivore since June of 2023

Couldn't watch live, but so glad I was able to catch it on KZbin. Laura was the FIRST influencer (besides Dr. Berry and Neisha) that I followed when I started carnivore 8 months ago. She's cute as a button and speaks my language: common sense, sustainability, and budget friendly. I've gotten so many tips and tricks, plus I adopted the "2 meats" meal plan in Week 2 of my carnivore journey and still do it to this day. Thanks for a great interview!

Since January I lost 51 lbs. I weighed 299 and I weigh now 248lbs. My original weight was 375. I gained the weight eating gluten free using all the high carb flours. I kept seeing don't eat the gluten free diet it will make you fat. It also made me a diabetic. Yes, it did. What made me change is when they wanted to put me on metformin. I went on the Keto diet and lost 115 lbs. I am not diabetic now. Then when my husband passed away I went back up to the 299. Now, I eat ketovoir and carnivore. I feel so much better. I still have 60 lbs to lose. I was wearing a 5x and now I wear a size 16. I tried putting cottage cheese in my scrambled eggs and was delicious. They were creamy tasting and the chunks were gone. Thank you for all you do to help the community.

I have been carnivore for nearly 4 months and have only lost 10 lbs. I have already seen a lot of healing with my digestive track, joint pain, eye issues, etc. It is discouraging but I have heard others say that if it is taking so long to lose weight it is because your body is way under nourished and your body is absorbing all the nutrients as well as healing itself. I don't know if this is true or not but I am feeling better every single day.

Very pleasant and easy to listen to. She makes you want to try this and stick to it because once again she is a realist and understands people . Just like you and Nia doctor Berry.

In-N-Out burger - Double/double, protein style, no spread, mustard, grilled onions, pickles. At 68 I lost 100 pounds and have kept it off for 4 years. Some days are keto but most days are carnivore. No seed oils. A1c is 4.6 and trigs are 48. No prescription meds. I did not count calories, macros, fat, protein, ketones.

Processed foods are high carb and nutrient defficient , that's why carnivore works for people that are fat, like me. Two years carnivore down about 50 lbs . I'm in Texas and there is so much tasty high carb dishes to tempt me ,stay strong and eat the brisket ,skip the tortillas. Also tried broccoli after 1 1/2 years and was miserable. I'll stick to protein and fat ,high energy no gut issues. Thanks to Laura and Ken those were the first videos I saw when I was losing hope, it was eye-opening.

Do your research ketosis is a more efficient pathway for us same with dogs they do not need ANY carbs at all they fo not need glucose they are designed to eat just meat just like us they don't jeed plant foods they are not cows and horses they need just meat and eggs and fish watch your dog live a LONG HAPPY and most healthy life with just carnivore and same with people we need a high fat no carb diet to be the healthiest version we can possibly be. My bipolar is gone my skin issues my autoimmune diseases chronic back pain everyday am seeing more and more of my body heal my health problems that doctors were only treating symptoms with all kinds of medications now I am on none of the medications or problems thanks to the carnivore diet. Thank you Ken berry Shaefy Baker amazing doctors that truly want to help and not for the love of money.

Alot about keto, we have several channels like Dr.Berg translated to Russian language, but nothing about carnivore. The thing is, that me and my family were a few years on keto, but only after getting in to carnivore diet we started to feel all the benefits of the truly correct food. I loooooove salads and veggies. In fact, if I didn't have such terrible health problems eating veggies, I would be so happy being vegetarian. And I was vegan and vegetarian for 20ish years. But after all that, I was hobbling around like an old woman at not even 40 years old, and going to the bathroom was a nightmare. Going carnivore was the best thing I could have ever done for my body, even though I miss my veggies terribly and it makes me so sad that my body can't handle regular food. But I won't stray -- I remember what I felt like before carnivore. I am NOT going back to that if I can help it!!! Thank you, Dr. Berry, for all your amazing work and encouragement. And I also thank Laura for coming into your show and talking about her health journey. I myself am relatively new to carnivore (almost 6 months in), and I'm learning all kinds of things from others and from my body all the time. Much appreciation!

Even canned chicken salad and eggs salad - with a cheese and egg chaffle. So EZ and delicious. Clean Mayo can be found. No soybean oil. Avocado oil is the only oil I can live with.
