Beautiful X5M and nice color and options choices. I went with the GLE 63s this time around and in some aspects as far as technology and some quality control issues, I regret my decision but, I do enjoy the exhaust note and the smoother suspension. Enjoy in good health, the X5M is a beast of a machine. Looking forward to more content.

Nah this LCI X5M came out of no where from BMW. They put all this intense design and engineering and research into the XM and this X5M destroys it. Absolutely gorgeous car and congratulations

Thanks! I did not test drive the XM, but from reviewers I've seen it sounds like they drive very similar. There's just no plug in hybrid for the X5M is the main difference. XM is much bigger and roomier inside as you would guess since based off the X7 body. The pros for the XM is you can find them available on lots and from what I understand dealerships are prepared to sell them at invoice. But still I felt X5M was way better value, but both awesome rides

My wife is in the car industry and the XM is not selling well at all. The local dealership here has had theirs for about 6 months now and still not sold. 😮

I guess one of them someone backed out of the order because they didn't realize it doesn't offer a sun roof 😳. I think they're going to have to offer massive discounts to move those

AWESOME upgrade. Top choice to go dravit (same as my M50i!). Truly best color , especially on an M car. Curious to see if you come up with any dislikes, but I imagine you knew what you are getting esp after last car. Hows the suspension feel compared to your previous X5M? The '23 M felt a bit too firm , and my 50i feels a bit too floaty. Wonder if it's changed any!!

Love the dravit! amazing color for sure. Will be sure to post any dislikes or downsides I have during ownership experience. The suspension in this one feels just slightly improved to pretty much the same. I prefer the stiffer suspension as opposed to the floatiness as you say. I will say I have Michelin Pilot sport 4s's on this one and that improves the ride comfort over the tires I had on my last one. I want to say they were Pirelli's but I'm blanking on the brand

Nice, I can't complain about the back seat. My kids fit back there with plenty of space. Adults are comfy back there too. Now when we still had a rear-facing car seat that was a little tight, but I feel like that's true for pretty much everything except full size trucks and three row SUVs

X5 M60i is a beast as well! I like it, I know some people want the physical buttons back, but definitely gives a more modern vibe to the cabin. Everything is really high resolution and responsive so I'm a fan so far

Yes the M tuned version is fast enough for me. 2024 x5 m60i is already pushing 500+ HP, and with the S58, it probably no longer makes driving non full M x5 feel like you were driving a pick up truck lol. I like physical buttons but the new infotainment system looks amazing.

I can't speak for the m340i because I've never driven one, but it does ride more comfortably than my m3/m4 mainly because it sits way higher

Lovely car! Think that Dravit Grey is one of the best colours they do. It’s a shame they had to get rid of the laser lights, apparently it was driven by some of the laws in the USA. Don’t know where, but apparently some states thought they were too bright, so they made a decision to take the option off. To be fair the standard LED lights are bright enough. Not a fan of the Silverstone colour way for the leather upholstery myself, but it looks good in your car. Great video!

I’m a big BMW fan, I own a 2011 BMW 328i xDrive Wagon 6 speed manual - but I just don’t like the way new BMWs look. I hate the massive grills, and how they got rid of the great looking dashboard in favor of those 2 tacked on screens (which look cheap, and get rid of physical HVAC buttons!). For the same price I’d rather get an Audi RS6 Avant, which is faster and has way more rear legroom, and pretty much the same cargo room. I test drove a 23’ X5 M competition and I found the ride to be REALLY harsh, too. Just my 2 cents, enjoy your car!

All personal preference I suppose. Everyone I know with an RS6 says they look awesome but a little on the numb side to drive. I mean it's going to be much more comfortable with an air suspension and all that of course. I'd prefer a car as well personally too but the X5 M is my wife's ride. Not a fan of the wagons however. I am interested to see the new RS7 performance in person however, I am curious about those now that they've gone back and corrected most of the complaints from the last version.

As long as you stay on top of the recommended maintenance you'll be in great shape. If I'm not mistaken, those X5s have the B58 engines which are notoriously reliable. I just have to laugh at people when they tell me BMWs are unreliable now

The new engine is not any faster, the new hybrid converter adds 12 more HP, but it is only noticed in the gear shifting points, as it shifts smoother and quicker if in the 3 stage shifting mode. It’s the same 0-60 mph in 3.5 - 3.7 seconds. There is also an update, I Drive 8.5, which changes the AC display. I have had a 2019 X5M, 2021 X5M competition and now a 2024 X5M completion.
