There r so many mistakes i see in this which will stress out ur hamster -avoid cohabitation -increase the size of your bedding to inches as they love burrowing. -enclosure is very small atleast 450sq inch is needed

All this was till they were babies now since they are adults they both have separate cages with appropriate space , high quality bedding , proper toys feed and water supply. Tho i understand ur concern but dont worry they both are living a happy and healthy life rn ❤️ And yes never provide ur hamster more than 1.5 inch bedding in summers they can die of suffocation

See they require 450sq inches of floor space and a 8-12 inch wheel a long with atleast 3 inch deep bedding for burrowing they are nocturnal and there are certain veggies that they can and can't consume
