Lily Jamerson I saw your video, but you need to keep more than one rat. Rats are very social and can’t be kept alone. They can fall into depression, become anxious or stressed and that’s not what you want right? Please get another rat.

@@keylia000 That is a very true fact about rats. They do get stimulation from an owner but you can't keep a rats emotional health 100% without a cage mate to give it full 24/7 emotional happiness. Rats truly need bonding from other rats, great comment I hope they respectfully take yours and my advice. To get at least one or even two bonded rats to go along with their single rat the commenter had.

I somehow hit the jackpot twelve years ago when I got my first rat, Splinter, from Petco of all places. There were all these babies on display and Splinter was the only adult. I knew no one would want him over a cute little baby, so I took him home. He ended up being the most fearless, social, affectionate, silly boy ever! And so smart! Ugh, I miss him!

I just got 2 new dumbo females last night they are so cute and so sweet about 5/6 weeks old. One is black with a white belly and one is a super light cream and I just love them so much.

My rats are just like your 2. My older girl is super playful and cuddly, and my other girl, who is also a capped rat, is a bit more shy. They honestly bring light to my life and I don’t know what I’d do without them.

I have a lovely Dumbo group of three rats and one girl is so special in how she behaves, that my friend began to call her Gollum from lord of the rings instead of her name Flecky and now she also reacts to this name and makes this pose that gave her this nickname xD. He apologized for it but it's very funny

The other ones names are Oma Fussel (grandma Fuzzy) and Schnuppi. I live in Germany so I hope the little translation of her name helps you to understand it

My rat breeder believes in not interacting with the babies so mine were basically as wild as pet shop rats when we got them. They're my first rats, you can imagine what a struggle that was.... They wouldn't settle in, hated touch and did not bond at all until months later.

I love your rats! And I also love how you can pet them and give them scratches ❤️ I have to male mice named hammi and Sammi and I am to scared to pet them too much because they’re so fragile. But a really cute memory I have with hammi is that he came up to me and started nibbling my nail but I freaked out and ruined it 😂 but after that he started to lick me and I was so confused at first thinking he peed on me 🤣

Ya they are not as "furry" as your others. I have never seen your thick haired "Dumbo's" in the states before. They almost look like little bears to me sometimes with how furry your older boys are.
