Meet Our Guides - Bucky Bukowitz

Meet Bucky!
Bucky was born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland. After finishing college in West Virginia, he cycled across the United States where he went through Jackson, Wyoming. After finishing his trip he moved to Jackson in 2019 and began guiding trips year-round. Since he was able to spend everyday outside in Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Park, Bucky was able to continue his love for and education in this unique ecosystem. He stepped away in 2021 to pursue a position guiding multi-day sea kayaking trips in the San Juan Islands, but couldn't stay away from Jackson Hole. While he enjoys paddling and playing in salt water, he felt the drive to reconnect with western Wyoming.
