40!!!!! My goodness you look 25!!!!!! I had a son... 51 years ago this year . He was breech . I got to the hospital at midnight..... the nurse said don't even sneeze!!!! She called my OB GYN and he was delivered by C section at 1:02 in the morning! Talk about close! I had contractions all day but I thought they were tolerable, even though they were uncomfortable. Enjoy this beautiful addition to your sweet family. Congratulations.

What a lovely video! As a former OB/C-Section Recovery RN, I thoroughly enjoyed your labor and delivery story. Thalia is so very very beautiful and adorable, just like her Mommie! You look wonderful by the way! I have missed seeing you a lot but I’m glad that you allowed yourself a proper healing and recovery time. And more importantly that you both are doing well. It’s sweet knowing how much Big Sissies and Big Brudder are loving having their Baby Sissie!! I already know that Nelson is totally in love with her too. My first was a vaginal delivery and probably should have had a c-section. It was HORRIBLE! Then I had a high risk pregnancy and have no choice by a scheduled c-section and premature birth. I had two there and the doctor didn’t feel safe with trying a v-bac at all. I don’t feel any less of a mother or anything because I’ve had to have c-sections. One baby did get whisked away but was medically necessary. The other c-sections were planned early and they stayed with us the whole time. I’m grateful for the advances in medicine and the fact this saved my child’s life and mine. It’s all birth and being a mom no matter how the baby arrives. May God bless you, your family and beautiful baby. You’re a sweetheart. You’re children are blessed to have such great parents. Just love on those beautiful babies and don’t worry about the rest. I was one of those emergencies at Erl. I had an emergency c section on my youngest. She was 6 weeks early but her cord was wrapped around her neck so bad that it was dropping her heart rate with anything physical I did other than bed rest. But she was ready to come. I love their staff there! Again, she is so perfect!
