The iconic image of Ms. Andrade on the top of the podium, w/ Ms. Biles and Ms. Chiles alongside her, was made all the much better by her raising her hands to the sky w/ a giant smile and look of triumph on her face. She really deserved that moment, and I'm glad that her two fellow competitors were there to honor her.

To be fair and honest, Simone's comment was another "push" when needed. Rebeca has told in an Interview that after one of her 8 surgeries, she sat on her bed, ready to give up, in silence. In her head she was thinking It was too much, specially doing that without someone to give her some comfort in that Very moment. Lorrane (one of the girls in the Brazilian team) shared the Room with her. Rebeca didn't say a word. Lorrane (who didn't say a word either) stood up and Sat beside Rebeca. Then hugged her. No word said. That was the answer Rebeca needed, to understand she was not alone and that It was not over yet. Anyway...
