Hi Teri, You know I love this product. I've made napkin rings, quilled/coiled fabric, votive flowers, I've hand painted on it, and so much more. Whenever anyone asks me about making t-shirt quilts (which I actually don't make), I tell them to try Terial Magic instead of other stabilizers! I'm blown away by all the uses you have come up with and have demonstrated here!

I use terial magic on my quilt fabrics before cutting as it prevents the fabric from moving while under the quilting ruler, I keep in in until I'm all done with the entire quilt as it makes piecing so very very simple!

I use Terial Magic for preping fabric for precision piecing (quilts). One light spray gives the stability of 3-4 applications of regular spray starch. It's a huge time saver compared to regular starch. ... and piecing with fabric treated with Terial Magic is a dream!

Oh, I love hearing this! Just spraying it lightly (or like you would starch) works like a super starch!!!! Yes I am so jazzed to hear about a new use! I will try it and make a video-you are the best...Thanks you!

Terial Arts I bought a bottle awhile ago and don't think I ever used it! I haven't been doing much crafting lately, but when I get back to it, I'll be using it when I sew and machine embroider. Never thought of using it to cut fabric on the Cricut. You gave us a lot of good tips. Thanks!

@@conniel.4601 Hi Connie, yes! great with electronic and die cutters~so happy you watched and learned! Terial Magic does not get too old to use, the worst that happens is the sprayer clogs, just run it under warm water to free up the flow-Thanks for your comments!

If I want a ruffle or the accordion pleat you used in the cupcake card--Do i iron the pleats in when the cloth is damp from TM ? Di I ruffle fabric first then spray or do it after its stiff?? Love the product and the videos! THANK YOU for developing it and these videos.
@terialarts4 жыл бұрын
Hi Karen, I would finger-press the pleats in the treated dry fabric, then press with iron if desired. Are you using a ruffle attachment or basting to gather fabric? Either way I would treat and dry/press fabric then ruffle on machine or baste stitch and gather. Thanks! Terry

I love this product. What do I use it on? What don’t I? Lol. I do a lot of thread painting as well as embroidery. I have started using it for my quilting as well as my piecing. I was making origami styled boxes as gifts (out of fabric) and never liked using stabilizer with them. Terrial Arts solved my problem. Works great when I stitch on my sashiko machine too.
@terialarts5 жыл бұрын
Hi Giuliana, I love hearing about for sashiko and would like to know more. I have seen hand sashiko but was unaware of the machine. Does the Terial Magic keep the fabric rigid enough so that it does not pucker with the long stitches? I also just read that Susan above uses it for piecing, she sprays it lightly on the fabric and says it's like spray 3 coats of traditional starch-I am definitely going to try this! Thanks for sharing, I might have to try the sashiko machine, do you have samples you can share? Thanks, Terry

I have recently become interested in visible mending as an art form including sashiko and boro style Japanese techniques. I would think that Terial Magic could be very helpful in stabilizing the fabrics involved in such projects although I have not yet tried it.

Love it. Please tell me: after saturating/squeezing the area i want to hoop for embroidery (cotton/spantex T-shirt), approx. how long would I need to wait before pressing, If I put the T-shirt on a hanger at room temperature -can’t put it outside in the sun nor near a radiator. Or is there a better method? Possibly letting it hang dry then spray a bit of water before pressing ? (But this would delay the embroidering quite a bit, wouldn’t it?) best advice please. Thanks

I did an embroidery stitch out with a dense design. There is a few puckers so I was wondering if you could use terrial magic after the stitch out to take out puckers.

hi Terry...on the T-Shirt quilts stabilized by Terial Magic, do you still need to use a ball point needle to do the quilting or is a regular needle going to be ok?
@terialarts5 жыл бұрын
Hi Suzy, great question, I hope this helps, it's what I do~ I use a universal needle but you should test on a scrap of your t-shirt fabric as some are very light or have poly in them that may not absorb the Terial Magic as well as 100% cotton, thereby needing a ball point. I would lover to see your quilt, or progress! Please post to Terial Arts on Facebook! Thanks, Terry

Will this work on Bamboo knit with Spandex? This is a very light knit and sometimes difficult to sew. I usually have two yard pieces so soaking in a bowl would not really be practical. Would I perhaps hang it on a clothesline and spray it lightly?

My terial magic arrived today! Can I use it on terry towel? How about chiffon? I thought it might make rolled hem on chiffon easier if I can use terial magic.
@terialarts4 жыл бұрын
Yes, you can use it on terry and chiffon as long as the chiffon is natural fiber or natural fiber blend. Terial Magic needs to absorb into fabric so some poly fabrics are not suitable because they do not absorb. It does make fussy fabrics easier to handle and sew with! Thanks!!! Terry
