I've followed @Boozor for most of his CC journey. I stumbled upon him searching for a particular arena build, as I had sorely neglected arena and subbed him straight away. I'm not the biggest fan of arena, but watching his journey up the LA ranks as a f2p beating up some top Whale players impressed me enough to keep coming back. I also found @Aroneous shortly after doing his "Commons Only" series, feeding leggo's to Sister Militant (I think it was her) lol. Now that's bonkers and worth having him on to chat about that alone, but he is also a top f2p arena player and really decent guy just like Boozor. Great vid, with a long in-depth Q&A that gave time to go into each question fully. So, many more like this please on the lesser known CC's as it's a great way to go with collabs. The big guy's don't need any more airtime, although they all have interesting stories too. Plus, we need something to distract us all from Paylarium's shenanigans these days.

Just for the record I was a spender for the 1st year 2-3k a month and then I realized I LOVE $ more then making PLARIUM rich, lol This should be a huge eyeopener to all those who think they need to spend to play. Life has so much more to offer!!! Thanks again
@Relativizor9 ай бұрын
Don't underestimate the value of f2p players for the player base and general health of the game. You want f2p and low spenders in there to contrast the higher spenders. You want there to be arena targets you can climb past by spending. You want there to be clans. If Plarium knows what they are doing, they are 100% going to give the f2p accounts a thought as well when they design content. A strong f2p base is the funnel by which you obtain spenders eventually.

Thanks to both Ash and Boozer, it was a great Video. as a f2p myself I appreciate the inputs, and I am glad to say that I use most of those strategies. Except for the time I sleep, my energy is never capped, and I always keep the energies won from tournaments and and events, I especially leave them till the end of that tournament or event, that way it goes into my inbox with a 6 day time limit, same for the energy won from cvc.
@jacobwoodard8189 ай бұрын
Something some people may not take full advantage of is the gradually increase in energy. You'll have time in between hours after blowing your energy to do other things so you can potentially have a additional 300 energy plus what you wake up with in the morning if you manage your account properly. Because it only takes 5 hrs to build up 100 energy. Also you'll have those episodes from Call Of The Arbiter and 1 mistake I made in the beginning was collecting immediately. Which cost me days of free energy because I was having a hard time blowing through all of it. Back in the day we didn't have permanent super raids and it was hard to my spend energy faster than I could level up.

I enjoy the f2p grind myself. But I also set comfort zones for myself to make the game very easy going. People would be surprised how easy Raid can be if they just do the stuff that they like with a little extra grind not much, especially because this game allows for auto and if you're out of auto battles you can download an auto tapper. Now this guys account is definitely stronger than mine but I'm proud of what I've been able to do as a f2p.

While interesting, there’s not much for a f2p person to learn from this other than “have better luck in your pulls”. He’s f2p and pulls Duchess month 3. MacChan spend and spends & finally quits the game because of nothing but bad luck on pulls.
@hotrod33959 ай бұрын
That isn’t why Mac Chan quit. He reduced his spending down to like 5% of what it used to be and started slipping in elite arena, which was always his thing. He lost interest as he realized he would have to spend like he used to if he wanted to stay relevant in top 50 arena. Duchess is not the only champion that will completely change a new account. Every single account that gets played eventually gets a progression carry. For me it was Brogni. For you it may be someone else. If you play thoughtfully and consistently you can reach the end game in Raid without giving Plarium any money.

Hey fellas! Ash! Long time sub here.. love your channel. Keep it going bud! You've got a world of support out here. BoozorTV.. you've got a new sub.. I'm a mostly FTP player so I feel your pain bud. I spend $10 a month on the gem pack and that's it. I feel like that's the best bang for my buck. Aside from that, Plarium can suck a sour grape. So, tons of respect for you Boozor. You are what all of us FTP (or mostly FTP) players aspire to. Keep it up!
@jshtng789 ай бұрын
There used to be an official Plarium page or URL that HH and other earlier content creators would show during account reviews to prove that the account had not purchased anything. Considering that Saph and co. have recreated that functionality for the F2P challenge I'm curious for the lowdown on what happened with the Plarium version.

Good collab. Keep in mind he's Free to Play but also get's rewarded with gems, chickens, books etc. on a weekly basis from his CC program as well as I've heard he gets gems from being a moderator on Reddit for RSL. He apparently gets 2K gems from there per month. So, with 2K plus gems a month from CC program and additional 2K per month from other areas, he's getting a whopping 4K+ gems per month to which 99.9% of all other free to play players on average never ever get.

Insane account. I'm also ftp for 3+ years and finished most content. The difference is that I hoard my energy. Had to waste 20k during this cvc and fusion and had to spend 15k gems out of the 45k stack. He is absolutely right about the mythical champs power creep. My warlord is becoming useless against them. Plus it's super annoying to always have full inbox of gear that I fear getting rid of. The difference is that I also play almost all day every day, haven't even geared the last 10+ leggos that I got and the game is becoming more and more annoying, especially because of Live Arena and it's suuuuch a time sink making me miss out on playing other games.

Ancient shards are very easy to get any time from the beginning to the end. Its just a matter of managing resources and recognizing that at beginning your best reward is shard and nothing else competing for fragments should be the last thing on your list until you have a team that can take you places. Also if you have that kind of time in your schedule something else to consider buying ancient shards with gems because when you've got the gem mine and everything else set you'll be able to afford it from time to time so long as you keep enough for when you need it to get the extra points needed in a tournament to land in a spot where you can get your ancient shards. I generally don't need to by more energy at the stage in my account that I'm in. However when I do it's never more than 120 gems. I save the full energies I get in mail box and use my monthly quest rewards towards events. Rather burning my energy like I have hole in my pocket I almost only spend my gradually increasing energy unless I can take advantage of a event. Done properly you can get 10 or more ancient shards a week plus what ever ancient, void, and sacred shards you get from clan boss.

And while I cannot compete with your damage gear, I can get my Arbiter to 443 speed in mixed sets, or my Siphi to 401 (411 when my faction kicks inn) speed in a 9 piece protection set. Some of these new gear sets from Hydra/Sintranos, are actually a good way to bridge the gap between spenders and F2P in Raid.
