I chose the Optima SX/SX-L over the Mazda 6 Touring, but mileage may vary. You can't go wrong with either or. Just make sure the Mazda has Android Auto/Apple Carplay. The Optima does have the pano roof. I love my Optima. Also if you are an audiophile, the Mazda has the Bose whereas the Optima has Harman Kardon. Imo, though I could be wrong, Harman Kardon > Bose.
