This is huge. There, where you thought there was nothing but isolation, you find a world and then a universe filled with so much depth of emotional connection, It is somewhat overwhelming. I am still weeping.

So disturbing that people isolate and only live an life online in a game .. I guess this movie tries to make it look like that’s an for filling life, but it can’t compare to a real life lived .. ever.. sad😢

Some people cant live a "real life" with other oeople because of health reasons, others isolate for other reasons. They would still isolate if there wasn't any games. Gaming gave them something positive to use their mind on. Who are you to decide if other peoples live are fullfilling or not? Have you ever tried playing a game?

@@guromariewed5759 im one of the people who isolate because of health issues , I became disabled in my 30s. So I know what other and myself are missing out on. It can at time give you a feeling that you’re a part of something, but it’s not real and you usually find that out at some time. I really wish for everyone to get the help they need to take part in “normal” life , with the help of personal assistants if needed or get mental and emotional help to get out of isolation. It’s like having a dark bubble around you at all times. It’s very sad and I wish for everyone to be able to live their best life and get the help they need , without having to pay for it. In many countries that’s what’s stopping them. People who self isolate because of being hurt in the past , or because of low self esteem really deserve so much more. I don’t judge them, as I’m one of them. I feel for them and wish for them to have a better life. We all deserve to live the best life we can as we only have one.

You obviously don't have the faintest clue. All your real world can offer is to live your life with a filter, incoming and outgoing. You can never have a realistic relationship with anybody.

But that's the whole point: It's _not_ isolation, quite the opposite! I've made friendships through online gaming that have lasted way longer than friendships started through direct social interaction. I've even had visitors from several countries (multiple times), among these friends. It's a whole new level of interaction! And it "cross-contaminates"; I have friends from online gaming that are now friends with some of my friends from direct social interaction, and we all hang out on Discord every now and then, talking about what our kids did that week, rant about this terrible or great movie, play games together, etc. Quite cool, right? There are also countless stories of people meeting their life partners through gaming, relationships that typically lasts longer that "traditionally started" relationships since, I guess, people with similar interests also play similar/the same games. What _is_ sad, is that so many are socially isolated, and _haven't_ discovered online gaming, for whatever reason, be that parents or other immediate social circle, or simply lack of access to the technology.
