Sara and Brooks basically front the same game of appearances and that’s what was revealed in that exchange at the end. Sara got called out on it and was triggered the same way she triggered Brooks at the dinner table. I don’t know how Sara can sit there and say that parenting isn’t cultural when she made her son sit and eat on the floor with his hands and discussed how important it was for her to raise him with her CULTURE 💀

Caroline feels socially and aesthetically overpowered by Ayan and she can’t handle it. I think this show is great because it showcases Black women in a way that the media and Hollywood works hard not to. Beautiful Black women front and center living in our shine is an extremely powerful thing! And is threatening to some folks. Some of the critics of the show itself (would never admit it) but they have a real issue seeing Black women with families and homes like Lesa Milan, or fabulous like Ayan or upwardly mobile and entrepreneurial like Brooks! I’m here for this show and what it represents!

I know someone who was deported just because he was in disagreement with a local. They don't care about how much money you have. I'm on Sarah's side with this one. How Arabs raise there children vs black people is very similar. Both are stern, overbearing and everyday we see black people complaining on how horrible they were raised, even though our parents had the best intention.
