Cong Abbey is a wonderful place, a centre of learning from early times. It should have designed walkways, and cameras to ensure the ancient structures are not damaged. It would be great to see it restored, and the water Mill operating again, with local grown food, zero food miles. Thank you all in the lovely village of Cong, and Ashford Castle. My wife and I spent a week of our honeymoon at Ashford last year. It is truly the best collection of staff anywhere in the world. Absolutely unforgettable experience, overall. We're already planning our return in the coming years.

I know a manager at the Waldorf Astoria in NYC he manages the resturant called Bull & Bear...He got his training at Ashford Castle

Hmmmm. I’m not sure this place would be for me. All the women in the video are thin and white. No people of color. No “different” people in the video. White, married. Golf course types. I have reservations about going there. Just because I can afford to go there does not mean I will fit in there.

OH for heavens sake get over the woke-ness....I plan on going for 75th Birthday, I don't care what "color" people are or what size, married or not. Its about the history and atmosphere. I'm a widow, Native American and white. I cant wait.!!!! God Bless Ireland.

Peponi Hotel, on the island of Lamu, of the coast of Kenya, The Gulf Hotel in Oman, the Connemara Hotel in Chennai they are all interesting. It is possible to anchor a sailing ship nearby. Ashford Castle is a great place, to take the ferry to the islands and on the return listen to the Piper in full dress, play the bag pipes. Good Karma to you, and everyone who you come in contact with. Our Ocean planet is really beautiful.
