Intrestingly Tirpitz was the highest tier ship that WG has ever given to me from any crate, other then that they treat me very poorly even thought I played more then 700 hours in '23. Tirpitz was my first ever premium so far. Im just not playing her as much since of meta ships who can just do...way better. Tirpitz has gotten buffs to the torp tubes resilience, heals percentages, and a little buff to accuracy and even, *increase income of credits earning if you're doing well.* That's all she got to be mid of the pack.

Tirpitz!!! My favourite ship:1580 games,5.2M elite exp,213k highest damage. I still play her but my toughest games were back in 19/20.I had to deal with 3 maybe more JBs and a couple of Atlanda ships.

Having good brawl games in Tirpiz is a big lottery ticket, but when you do pull it off it is the best feeling you can get with German BB’s. It takes a lot of skill to know when to commit and survive the engagement.

I was in the game too! I was with Odin, anyway, GG for the game Edit:The Tirpitz is the ship I played a lot, more than 3,000 games, I love the ship, the 380mm is not very precise despite its buff (+6% shell grouping), and its torpedoes are indestructible.But the real problem remains the short range of the secondary batteries, unfortunately they only reach 8.4km with the full secondary build, while others reach 11.4km, The Tirpitz gave me a lot of fun in close combat, sometimes sinking DDs with torpedoes 🤣,,Has a great Repair party if you use Will to rebuild,But it needs some love from the WG

My first premium ships 5mill xp. Tirpitz is a dangerous ship my best damage was with this ship 32000 damage. The problem now I think is with the amount of destroyers and lack of radar/sonar makes this ship extremely vulnerable. Love your vids buddy👍

@@DerkaGames my best game in 4 years. I believe if tirpitz had the option of sonar and a slight buff to accuracy then tirpitz would be a dominant t7 but also a real threat to t8. I love this game but it's getting so frustrating. Not the things that wargaming has introduced ships etc, but the player base is so bad. Why can a 15min game be predicted the outcome in under the first 3 min. This is something that's been sfom the start. Your vids have always been chill to whatch and I've taken a lot from them so thanx Derka.

Henry Hyde with kedrov and an accuracy commander as inspirations, then flammable cannonier, alidad, marksmanship, master mechanic and fight fire with fire is a great build for tirpitz

I got the Tirpitz B from a crate. Played her a few times. I do like having the torps. People, even after all this time, forget that she's got them. I built her for accuracy and she does OK. When I want to see a secondary fireworks show, I'll bring out the Bismarck. When I want secondaries that actually do something, it's time for Big Mamie :).

Tbf. If you are within 7 km of a secondary bismarck while being in anything short of a heavy armor bb, you can watch your health get deleted.

I am thinking about picking this one up. Having torps is a game changer. the speed is nice too. I prefer crisscross over Porkpine. I think getting your guns where you want them is more beneficial especially when dealing with cruisers that don't respect your accuracy. speaking of accuracy, I know I say this a lot but Hipper with a double grouping build (Cunningham and Iachino) is my bread and butter. The boost from Hippers trait and the slot 4 upgrade is all you need as far as buffing secondaries. IMO

I only picked her up from a crate a few months ago, but I’d been sitting on the Teslau skin for it for years now. The ships is worth playing just to get that skin into a match. And of course shortly after I got it I also won the Tirpitz B. Go figure. So to I built standard Tirpitz with Teslau herself into a fast-firing mid-close range gunner with a 19.3 second reload. Cunningham and Iachino help reign in the lost grouping. For the Black I go Hyde with Iachino and Haruna to maximize gun accuracy for both main and secondaries.

For me I only use Hyde for the Tirpitz and have lots of fun with it. The healing is great and you get some secondarys but the guns are amazing for German standards.And obviously u can do a lot in close quarterd

@@DerkaGames Luckily I count it as a ww2 era vessel. Imo a ships era is when the hull of a vessel is launched as it is a good 75% of a ship. Vanguard's hull was launched in 1944

Not worth it imo. I can make ships like Champagne and Gascogne work magic, but not this ship for some reason. It never does well whenever I play it. 3 Krakens in less than 50 games with Champagne and Gascogne has solid games often.

As for the ship ? The true OG premium battleship, i do agree she has been let down a little bit but she can still do really well, always wanted to get her but using Gxp for TT ships and Stalinchad always stood in my way Btw man i got an idea for a video ! Why not ask people their top 5 or top 10 best ships in base xp and damage and make a video about it ? It might take time though now that i think about it... still putting this idea here anyway 👍

Hey Derka i recently bought the Kii and I like it so far but the build I am using is a bit unortadox, i went full AA battery using apregio Kirishima wotj Ernest king and Yamaguchi as inspiratios. My AA starts at 6.8 km for the 100 mils AA and 4.8 for the 40 mil and 4.3 for the 20 mils with a dps of 735 how good is that for an aa build against Kaga and Saipan who are the most common? I just have not been able to get into many games with carriers in this ship to properly test the build against carriers so help would be appreciated.

As far as Global XP ships are concerned, Roma is baffling. I like Roma but for it to not have SAP anything is odd to me. What's the motivation to spend 750,000 global XP for it. I got mine in an Xmas crate in Jan '22 so I didn't have spend any in-game resources but one would think Vittorio Veneto is generally better in comparison. As for the Global XP choices I can agree the Massachusetts is THE best choose if you didn't get it as the Xmas Campaign ship in 2020. I did so I had the opportunity to look at what else was available for Global XP so I bought Tirpitz and have enjoyed the ship very much. I think Gascogne is better than Champagne in my opinion. Metajerk has demonstrated how effective Gascogne can be in more than one video, but most players aren't as skilled as he is. Champagne was the first campaign reward ship that i ever sold. I still don't regret that decision.

I get along with Bismarck more than I do Tirpitz and I have yet to have a match were I was all that impressed with my Bismarck (tried full dispersion, full secondary, and hybrid). I would say, at T7, Bismarck is average and Tirpitz, at least the Black Friday version I have, is below average. Going by my own stats Tirpitz main guns are significantly less accurate than Bismarck's (which are slightly below average compared to my other t7's). Tirpitz problem is she's pretty much a one-trick pony - try to survive into the mid to end game where you can get close enough to rush people with torps and secondaries. That's the only place I've had some success and there are simply better ships for doing that. As ships that actually existed I really wanted to like Bismarck and Tirpitz they just don't seem able to meet me halfway by being useful most of the time. Then again, my Bismarck has pulled a random, 1 in a 1000 salvo dev strike out of her ass so there is that. Probably some historical significance there...

I would agree she’s mid. It either needs a main battery reload boost, secondary range boost or sonar. Maybe a combo of sonar and secondary range.I’ll never forget when I first started playing this game I was in Iowa and one of these snuck up on us at a cap coming around an island and torping me 🤦‍♂️

Those blue DDs are giving me an aneurism... I'd rather play a T5 in a T7 lobby than have the typical blue DD players... Tirpitz's speed and torp angles are good. She looks like a better brawler than most secondaries-first BBs. Still, doesn't seem unique enough to warrant dropping 750K GXP. I'll still save up for Elbing and Stalingrad. And I wish Seigfried and Kronshtadt dropped as GXP ships -- wasn't playing for the first, and took a break for the second. The GXP trickle is way too slow.

If you like Bismarck you will also like Tirpitz, just sacrifice your secondary range for torpedos and boom you have Tirpitz! They play similarly it’s a case of pick your poison! Personally I’ve grown quite fond of the Bismarck twins! They are definitely underestimated! Just my opinion tell me yours!

That concealment chart is wrong i main German ships and know all about there stats and I can tell you that tirptz concealment is very bad 13.3 with a camo and concealment mod is awful

This is the type of game I’m having every game. The game is all but unplayable for me. The matches are so shite. You had an AFK benson the whole match and somehow he outscored 4 teammmates.
