I was separated from my baby sister, as she was so little I was told it was best for her to go alone, it would be easier for her to be adopted, she was and I haven’t seen her since, I never got fostered or adopted, and now live in accommodation without anyone. I hope she’s happy, I love her so much ❤️

@@jessiemia3100 Thank you dear for the explanation. But I must say, it feels to me like, in the end not many parents have good intention when adopting and the agencies officials are mostly interested in their figures, not the children happiness. Siblings should be kept together, being adopted is already a change situation to be goung through as a child/young person, on top of that you are stripped of the remaining stability/known environment you have. This is just too much I believe for a young person. I understand why the couple adopted all the siblings, and I applaude them for that.

I have been mom to my son since he was 3. One day while I was at work his dad called me. Said our son was talking about me, called me mom, then stopped and looked nervous. His dad told him he can call me mom instead of Miss Niki. He screamed with joy and ran around the house. When his dad told me I was bawling at my desk. Then everyone that asked why I was crying ended up crying. It's an amazing moment when a kid that isn't biologically yours calls you mom. Bless this beautiful family. They now know that special feeling.

Good luck with your adoption so far. Can I just ask you why so many people choose to adopt outside of there own country. I watch alot of those gotcha day vlogs with international adoption I guess I find them really touching and beautiful stories to watch. But they never really explain why they chose a different country etc. I'm not asking anyones personal reasons just general question.

Honestly this is normal for Tongans to adopt children, especially in his circumstances where the woman wasn’t able to bare children. The only difference is, we usually adopt inside the family. It’s usually a family member who isn’t able to care for a child or the children and give it to the family member who is more stable. It’s common Tongan adopt, just usually within our own families. It’s beautiful to see this Tongan, go outside of his family and help.

@gracienoblw3507
@gracienoblw3507 5 жыл бұрын
I’m sorry but family vlogs are a REALLY bad thing to be promoting. It’s not a good thing to be pushing, and it’s an awful environment for those small kids, them just being pushed into the spotlight. And yes I know, these kids are already on TV so what’s the difference? But I think having a daily or even weekly channel will get in the way of the entire family’s personal lives and the parent obviously have jobs so that would be a large distraction. I’m not trying to smack you down in any way, I’m not trying to be mean and if you thought that I’m really sorry. Just maybe don’t ask to and promote family KZbin channels

I was in dozens of fostor homes from 9 years old til i was 18 and then was thrown out on the streets. Nobody has ever helped me in my life, but it is great to see that it does exist somewhere

These stories are so good for the human heart and spirit. We’ve adopted out of foster care and we also have 4 of our own biological. I will never turn away a child needing a family. We’re not perfect but we can offer love, safety, a warm bed and a big family. ❤️ I pray everyone would be moved to help children in the foster system

Would have been nice to give them something like a big gift card to a restaurant or something. Otherwise, an uplifting story with a great set of parents.

She said they'd be right back and that part must have been cut off so they probably were given something to enjoy as a family.

My sister and I were adopted at the ages of 7yrs old and 5yrs old. My adopted mom worked for Social Services in Adams County Colorado, and my adopted dad worked for the school district for Aurora. I remember having visits with them and didn't want to go back to the foster home. We were finally adopted at the ages of 7 and 5. I do have contact with my biological mom but not with my biological dad.
