That's because to her it is fun. She's a working breed. She really enjoys a lot of activity & mental stimulation. Instead of using her for normal hunting they're using her for hunting koalas or other animals. This is very much not a dog that would be happy as a house pet. Doesn't mean she can't enjoy a nice evening by or weekend at home though. It just means that she's happiest when she has a job to do. Some day she'll have a nice retirement but for now she happiest working with her human.

@@Nirrrina My friend's family had a English Springer, and she was fine as a family dog. My one memory is her excitment when I came over because we'd wrestle.....she was awesome. But as soon as she'd see me she'd race up to me and in her excitement she'd pee. Just a spot on the floor but it became easier and cleaner for her to greet me outside. Then the pee went into the grass. After our wrestle she'd curl up and demand a belly scratch. Very sweet dog.

There was a bushfire pretty close to my house a few days ago, but luckily, the firefighters were immediately onto it and it was put out by early the next morning (the fire started at 9:30 pm). tbh when a dog is so pretty. What I noticed is my dog always loves it when I do the things I like and relax, like when I game CoD or listen to some of my favourite bands like Delta Parole it feel like my dog is rocking out to the music together with me.
