Meet the Galvin Scholars at Notre Dame | Frances

Frances Ubogu '25 is a biological sciences major minoring in Compassionate Care in Medicine. She's from Lagos, Nigeria, but lives in Johnson Family Hall on campus. The Galvin Scholars program has played a large role in her Notre Dame journey.
The Mary E. Galvin Science & Engineering Scholars Program at the University of Notre Dame provides talented students the support they need to thrive in chemistry, calculus, and physics courses.
Students perform significantly better in smaller sections, allowing for more interaction with their peers and the instructors. The program also helps students find supportive groups with similar talents and interests.
