He was bathed and trimmed before his flight and he was then put into a sleazy suit. Most handlers will do this before their flight. This is a service animal not an ESA. He is completely house trained to relieve himself on demand and use the pet relief stations before and after the flight.

Why does this person have a vest on this mini horse that says “service horse”? Mini horses can’t be service animals. They can only be emotional support animals. So they need to take that vest off that horse and put on an emotional support animal vest. She can’t be taking a horse everywhere she goes. The only place an ESA is allowed is on planes. This horse doesn’t have any other public access rights. So why did she get a horse that cannot be classified as a service animal for a disease that needs a service animal not an ESA? She should’ve gotten a dog instead of getting a horse, she needs to follow laws and guidelines, and she needs to stop doing this for attention. No good and knowledgeable doctor would “prescribe” an ESA for Crohn’s disease. An emotional support animal is for emotional support (obviously) not a physical impairment/disability. If she actually needed a service animal, she should’ve gotten a service dog not a horse labeled as a service animal when it’s actually an ESA that can do nothing to help with the Crohn’s disease the handler says her horse helps with. This is all for attention.

I can't tell you the exact reason he has it on for the flight but they make those kind of spandex-like body suits for horses of all sizes. I would put it on my horse if I didnt want his fur to get dirty while travelling (it takes a lot to get the bigger ones ready and clean to go anywhere.) But some other commenters were saying this little guy might have it on to prevent him from shedding hair or protecting other people from allergens wherever they go, and that sounds likely.
