Tim, I’ve been getting to know you through The Bulwark and we’ve become friends. The GOP made a big mistake when they let you go. So much the better for the rest of us! This interview with Robbie Kaplan is fabulous! She makes me proud to be an American and that’s not easy these days. I appreciate learning the history of the cases she’s worked on-gives me hope. All the best to you and to Robbie Kaplan.

This is such a FABULOUS interview. I certainly hope you will be able to interview her more often. Keep us informed about the ACN case that is waiting to find a new date. And the documentary about Charlottesville is NOT to be missed. It is entitled "No Accident" and it is on MAX.

Yes so much this. I didn't realize how emotionally invested in E Jean's case I was until the verdict came out and I just felt this huge wave of relief followed by exhaustion and a bit of a lapse back to some intense PTSD that I've healed from. It was so important for people to hear about things like why women often don't report to police, why we don't scream, etc and it was so vindicating to see justice happen 💙⚖️
@Rugelacharugula Жыл бұрын
@@sempressfi Agreed. Although small by comparison to his other crimes, it is important he now carries the title of “rapist.” Legally. For the rest of his miserable life. We owe her that.

@@RugelacharugulaIn truth one cannot ever reference rape in quantifiable terms. Even the recipient is not asked to assess that damage. You meant no harm but please don't think you can accurately call rape small in comparison to anything less than the Crucifixion

Thank you for taking E. Jean's case and takung care of her. I'm so sick of guys like Trump who think that they can take whatever they want from women. I know that she has plans for the settlement. I hope that she gathers up her friends and takes the vacation of a lifetime or whatever makes her happy. Whatever it is, i hope that it's epic, they have an incredible amount of fun and remember it for the rest of their lives. She deserves to be happy.

I really enjoyed this interview, Tim. Ronnie Kaplan handled Trump's E. Jean Carroll deposition brilliantly. Her cool composure stood in stark contrast to the way in which Trump became unhinged. Her unfamiliarity with the phrase "see you next Tuesday" and her subsequent response showed what a classy lady she is and highlighted the ugliness of the former President.

Something very STRANGE that no one ever points out about the deposotion & the photo: Trump not only mistakes E. Jean Carroll for Marla but, even more odd, he points to his ex wife Ivana ( the largest head in the photo), and says "Who's that?" It begs the question: Does Trump have a severe face recognistion deficit? Very strange indeed.

Dear Ms Kaplan, I loved listening to this interview, however, I had to stop watching it. You are obviously brilliant, but you need to learn to stop touching your nose, your hair and your face in general as you are speaking. I gave up counting, when I saw you do it more than fifty times. Watching you do this is disconcerting and seriously distracts from your important message.
