A whole series form forest to installed floor would make an excellent play list. That could be very educational for most of America's children that have no idea how the everyday products around them come into being. Food, clothes, housing, machines, devices most people have no idea how they get there because far too many people in the US add no value to anything for a living. Might even get some sort of award.

The lift has a max load rating on a name plate on the machine. The name plate will specify a max load for 24" out on the forks. These loads have a 24" center of gravity, so no adjustment to the max load number is necessary.

Until my military injury finally kept me from working, I did home inspections for the insurance industry. I've seen McMansions in the suburbs, beautiful remote vacation homes deep in the Appalachians, 150 year old farm houses and even a former grain mill that was originally laid down before the start of the Civil War. In all of those my favorite flooring has been the hardwood flooring. If you take care of it, it can be a beautiful home floor adding warmth and a sense of legacy for your great, great grandchildren. Even when abused, it can stand up to a century of use. For your home, an office space or any building that's not going to have machines rolling around on it, nothing beats a hardwood floor.

I was slightly skeptical when Emerald said that the bundles of white oak boards could weigh like 6000 pounds, but, on calculation, some of those stacks look like they must contain more than 110 cubic feet or 3 cubic meters and even more. Green white oak can weigh about 60 lbs a cubic foot or 1000kg a cubic meter when green/unseasoned, and so ... yeah ... more than 6000 lbs, that is clearly possible if the white oak still has a high moisture content.
