Pigeons are actually incredibly smart. They were used in war times to deliver mail. They are really fascinating creatures. I rescued a hurt pigeon once and restored her back to health it fascinated me that he would come back to my house every once in a while and say hello. So I started researching them and they are very smart. They remember faces. They also have one partner for life they don’t cheat ever and will always find one another and essentially their whole life is based around their partners. They’re really really interesting I love them.

And wrong again, they were not a "one way service" (even if that WERE true, that is still INCREDIBLY SMART for an animal whose brain is the size of your pinky.) Since you don't know shit let me educate you. Pigeons meet and love one pigeon for the rest of their lives. As a result of this (even till TODAY) humans use this love towards "our" advantage. For example (and NOT JUST in WWI) pigeons would get separated from their significant other, they would memorize where their significant other is and they would strap messages to their feet and have them fly from one place to the other (to find where their significant other is) and therefore deliver our messages. This isn't a "one way service" because once they reached that destination, they would be trained (by losing their significant other again) to fly to the next location. Furthermore, to add to your "one way service" bs I'd also like to add that this surpasses just *WWI* because even TODAY, pigeons are used in the same way but for a "sport" where people spend lots of money racing pigeons by using the same tactic. I find it disgusting however my personal opinion doesn't change the fact that it still exists. TODAY. And not just in " *WWI* " as you tried to simply put it. Please don't spew nonsense when you have no idea what you're talking about. If you lack information say so, and I will gladly educate you, but don't come up under my comment talking shit like you have half a brain when its clear yours is smaller than the pigeons you're talking shit about.
