All this areas needs a new sprinklers system even can be a simple house up to a high end building, but the water supplies has to be high pressure level also the wind from all hills has to be studied too. High winds and broken power lines is usually how these kind of fires start, I’ve lived in Southern California since 1966 and have seen numerous fires that take out entire counties of land. It happens regularly. High winds and broken electric power lines are usually the starting the reason the fires! 🔥

Water isn't the problem. They have enough. But, the hoses don't have enough water pressure to squirt it up the steep hillsides. They need pumps. Also, the Santa Ana winds are blowing 50-100 mph, and they can't keep up with it. There were 3000 acres on fire, at the same time, in less than a few hours.
