I mainly ripped this due to there not being good rips of all the Deleted Scenes, including the ones exclusive to the BluRay (Only rips of those that existed for years were shoddy camrips)

It's a shame that Goob didn't wake himself up. I think thematically it makes more sense to have Goob fix the issue as it shows accountability since he spends literal years blaming the lost game and then Lewis for his poor life. Nonetheless it was a great movie and it's really cool to get a sneak peak into what could've been

I think whatever you think about that scene, you can tell that the 'I'm never going to invent you' line was PERFECT for it. The Bowler Hat Guy disappears because Goob never became him, and it leaves Doris behind - there's the whole why isn't she active for the scene problem but yeah, that works FAR better than how it did in the real movie.

All the changes are for the better, imo. My biggest problem with the old scenes is that Lewis isn't that active of a character. Having him be actionable helps out a lot, and also I think brings a better theming to the movie. The final plot truly depends on Lewis moving forward but his frustration at failure kept holding him back. Even the time machine crashing in the final film happened because Lewis chose to immediately give up rather than actually try. It works into the plot very well

Well, everything except for the opening. I kinda liked the future looking castle that you see on the TV. It would have. Been nice if they could have at least showed its animation.

Honestly, I totally understand all of the cuts that were made! I like the idea of the family helping Lewis with his self confidence- as that’s the only point of the movie that feels more like chaos than plot- but there had to be a balance there that I think the original achieved well! Goob waking himself up could have been really cool- but I think it’s important that Lewis did it, to show he cared about Goob enough to run back and do it himself (although arguably the same would have been achieved by taking the bowler hat guy back like in the cut scene) Lastly, the best decision they made by far was changing how Lewis saw his mom. It’s such an essential part of the movie- and without it, we wouldn’t have that Easter egg at the beginning of the movie either.

That chaotic part of the plot I think fits pretty well because it shows the eccentricity and support that allowed Lewis to become the creative and perseverant man he is.

Personally I liked the deleted scene with Lewis looking into his past with the machine. He proved to himself and others that he's come to accept that he once had a mother, but that he has to keep moving forward, even if he never gets to see what she looks like.

I think that versions of goob wakeing himself up is better than the actual film. like in the actual film we just see the old version of him slink off not really knowing what happened to him. i mean we assume he turned out better when he made the catch but in this version we actuly see how it effected him right away. i just think it gives him a redemption that was missing from the actual film. The final one though idk i kinda like him almost seeing his moms face but i dont think the reveal of his foster parents works as well as the actual version.

Honestly I feel that in the movie the way Wilbur and Lewis' friendship developed throughout the film was pretty rushed and they didn't had many opportunities to justify how close they got at the end. If they had included moments like 7:17 and 11:21 in my mind it would have given a better sense of progression to this.
