Meet The Section - Episode 2

The Horn section bring you the second episode in our new 'Meet The Section' video series, performing for you a great slow melody.
Professor Childs explained "This is a beautiful setting by Michel Legrand wonderfully crafted by Philip Wilby especially for Black Dyke during this pandemic.
Although all the parts were recorded at the homes of Zoe, Siobhan, Alison and Amy, the inspiration came from the Choir of Trinity College Cambridge in the lush acoustic of the chapel. Therefore we have tried to capture the atmosphere by adding our own space, giving the music the glorious sound for our flugel and horns to shine, and of course the title epitomises the spirit where we are at the moment.
