I'm totally, absolutely totally in love with that Palomino!! I mean he's unreal gorgeous 😍

Wife.....I know exactly what you're talking about. One of my favorite mares had a tail that literally drug the ground for show, and she gave me a beautiful black and white filly. But baby chewed her Mama's tail off to the tail BONE!! I was so upset 😡 I had to buy tail extensions for her when I was showing her. So happy for you 😃. Blessings friends 🙌 Jennifer

Absolutely stunningly beautiful horses. Alan, honestly both your stallions are gorgeous . I pray for 66 that he has a safe trip to Colorado and a safe 2 year stay making beautiful babies. I also am praying that 66 adjusts well to the brutal Colorado winters 🥶. PeaceAndLove Lori

My favorite is Gold 66. Martin had a shiny blue roan the last time you were there that was gorgeous. If you weren't selling Penny, I still think a foal with Gold 66 would be nice. I guess I'm falling in love with palomino horses again. The darker the gold the better. Amry has a pretty one called Butters that's darker than the rest. I have always loved the horses that Randolph Scott used to ride in the movies.

I actually thought the coloring on 66's back legs made an optical illusion. That just made them look a bit bent. He's such a beaut. Gold 66 is an awesome built horse love his shape. On camera he looks like he I going to be a big horse. I see why after seeing his mother. Wow! Thanks for showing all these beautiful animals. I just love horses. 💘 🤗

Both gorgeous studs but I waiting to see the palomino full grown before I decide. I really would like a blue roan, if I was looking for a quarter horse as far as color goes, but at 76, I basically stick with a Walker after back surgery, knee replacements and shoulder surgeries. I've had a palomino quarter horse, a sorrel/ foxtrotter cross, a creamello quarterhorse/grade and a dappled palomino quarter horse cross. All were great horses with wonderful dispositions and I loved them all. Your stallions will leave their personality mark on their foals and it is a superb urban mark. God bless you and your family in all that you do for the breed and all your rescues.

Oh, I so wish I could still ride and had the ability to take care of one of those future babies. When I was young and wanted a horse so bad, we had no money, no where to keep it. Now, I have the money, but am too old to ride and take care of one. I'm sure they will be beautiful. Lucky 66, he gets to live on those green fields for a couple of years.

Was just in Durango this weekend, took a daughter, son in law, 2 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren to the bar -D ranch for fun, dinner & entertainment. Alan if you and Vicky haven't been there yet, next year you and the Martin's should go, it isn't to far away from Bayfield. Another event that's fun to go to is the cowboy poetry festival which is held in Durango around the 2nd week in October. The horses look great and so do you, JK looking forward to more videos.

Yes indeed Sir. you have two fine looking studs. I had a 3 year old Quarter horse stallion but because of all the operations on my back I best don't crawl up on him anymore. There was a young lady who would stop and talk to Bud and after talking it over with the wife I gave him to that young lady. She was as happy as a clam but don't know about Mom and Dad. That was 35 years ago. I'm getting old.

I would love to buy one for my grandkids to start. It would be a great bonding experience for us. It’s been years since I started a colt but it like riding a bike. They are the same age I was when I got my first horse. Having a horse is a true blessing. There is a truly a special connection between humans and horses. Both stallions are beautiful. 🙏🏼❤️

I feel that it is a great decision for you and Martin's quarter horses on 66. I like both horse types but I have always loved Gold 66 's type and style. The reason for me is the long pasture bones make a smoother ride in pasture. The old timers call a long circle pasture type horse. Were 66 type make a great cattle working type in coral .and short work. They both have great conformation and are lovely.
