@A thanks for the reply! You’re right, there definitely was a lot of that as well. I read that the term Zhong Guo started in the warring period, but was more in relation to the central plains. The term for sure had different definitions through time as well. There’s no doubt the modern government is using this name as a nationalist rallying point. The “Zhong hua min guo” concept in the early 1900s was to be encompassing of all ethnicities within China. The official names of China and Taiwan are a different contentious discussion haha thanks!

If there are any Model Refugees and Minorities, One should learn from Tibetans who have sought refugee in India. They are perfectly integrated to Indian Society & Culture, Not even once making a Drama about Food, Clothing or Rights for their Community, Even though they probably do need attention in all these aspects by the Govt.
