Erin Lee, owner of E'chappe Dance Arts in Philadelphia, started a Daddy & Me dance class, providing an opportunity for dads to bond with their little ballerinas in a new way. A video of this adorable father-and-daughter dance class went viral, and Kelly invited Erin and two of the dancing dads on the show to talk about how this class has benefited their relationship with their daughters.

@twistedblktrekie Respectfully that is your view. However, there are many black fathers who are devoted to their daughters and son. The point is we never hear or see that black men who are fathers do care about you their children. That black men are lazy with no respect or morals and all they are good for is making babies and taking care of them. When there are fathers like these who care. We never about. It was not so long ago when a white father was on stage dancing with his 3 year old daughter giving her support because she scared. That video went viral.

@twistedblktrekie what I am saying is why not show that there are black fathers who do care about the well being of their children. The media back then put out negatives imagines of black fathers. Is every white males that was ever born in this country so true blue red and white law abiding citizen with so much morals and respect. NOT! Is every black male that was ever born in this country so low life with no respect with no morals and have criminal behaviors. NOT! All I am saying why not show we do have black black fathers who are and have been doing what are supposed to for their children.

I get why they focused on black dads because our black men get so much bad reputation. They put all of our black men in one box because a few fail on the wayside. I took ballet for many years when i was younger. I loved it. My teacher Mrs Latham was a Russian ballet dancer. Oh she danced soooo beautiful. She is no longer with us. Those were good memories. Now on the video. Like Kelly said thats adorable.

My dad never got involved in my childhood. Didn't want to be at my piano recitals. Never showed up to my Tennis games or Drama. My mother did it all! Why you thumbing down. All parents should be involved. It made me feel like my dad didn't care about me. I'm 61 now and no kids. But I would of made a damn good parentt..
