It broke my heart when she said Diana would send letters that said “please visit” and that they weren’t taken seriously. I can relate to someone who is so lonely and constantly reaching out to old friends, nobody ever says yes. I find a kindred spirit in Diana. She just wanted some company.

@@nicoleg41699 the mom said in the video that Diana was constantly surrounded by paparazzi. it would’ve probably been very hard for her to have visited in a low-key setting. This woman seems kind and Diana obviously liked her. I think she must deeply regret not going to visit her but I can understand why she didn't take the request seriously! You would be thinking that Diana had more important people to see and was too busy etc, when in reality she was probably craving a friend from her past that she could trust. This is heartbreaking on so many levels.

She may not have been living in England then, maybe she was back in the US. Doesn’t really explain if she stayed long after that. If not that’s quite a trip for tea! Judging by your comments you probably never knew that era. She was beautiful, shy and sexy too. At least I felt that way about her. A child crush of mine. She participated in massive humanitarian programs. She represented england more than the royal family was. She was treated as a dignitary literally by everyone from poltics, entertainment industry, art etc... Plus the tabloids were on her 24/7. There were no issues that were not having her cover picture weekly. Crazy charles found a way to cheat on her. He treated very poorly. Guess who he cheated on her with? His current wife. Anyways that's past the prime. Beautiful "english rose". Beautiful and sexy. 20 years has past since her passing it seems like it was yesterday. "The queen of hearts" is a decent title to represent what she was to people while she was alive.

I love that Diana continued to have a friendship with her for 16 years. She was honestly one of the best people to ever grace this earth. Since I was a little girl, I have loved Princess Di. I was drawn to her and I didn’t even know why, the older I got the more clear it became. Her saying “she kept asking if she could visit, I didn’t recognize those as cries for help” I hope she doesn’t have guilt, she couldn’t have known. My heart breaks 💔

I really love that Diana chose to do something as humble as a nursery school teacher and take up the occupation of a nanny it says a lot about her character. She had the money to do whatever she liked pretty much the last thing she could ever have considered was to do was look after other people’s children. This is what I loved about Diana. True Royalty in my books. She was truly at the service of others.

Fun fact. I was 17 when I was visiting London from india. My family had links to the relatives of lord Mountbatten who was the last viceroy of india. I was touring Buckingham palace when I encountered princess Diana with Prince Harry and his brother. I was recognised by her as she knew who my family was. She asked me how was London and offered me tea . That was one of my best moments in life. I remember so vividly. Of course, the queen was at Windsor castle. Princess Diana was gorgeous and she was so soft spoken and kind to outsiders. I will never forget that day in my life

Cinderella story is about a commoner girl and a prince who falling in love to each other. But Diana is an aristocrate, and Charles didn't love Diana since the beginning. He loves camilla. He was just obey what the monarchy said. The Duchess of Cambridge and Duchess of Sussex is, but without step sister and poor background.
