I can't remember exactly when 'watching women's MMA' became 'watching MMA', but I'm feeling the same reaction towards Freeriding, after watching this video. Seeing a rider fly through the air or glide down the face of a rocky cliff is amazing, no matter the gender. Great athletes are great athletes. 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽‼️

I’ve been biking (bmx, road, mountain) for my whole life (41 years), but I only just recently got a full suspension bike!! I’m loving it! I have joined a local group and hit as many women’s rides as I can, we even have a girls only text group to organize rides. Besides being a very male dominated sport, another big issue for me is the cost! The cost of a bike alone is the price of a car for many people. I’m a teacher, I’m not on the breadline, but it was a big decision to get a full sus bike; thankfully, I’m small, so I got myself a secondhand bike from a kid who was upgrading. I buy everything on sale/past season, and don’t get me started on the price of women’s biking clinics! That’s a (crying) joke! Hundreds of dollars a day, plus (not cheap) accommodation on top, if you need to travel for it. We want more women in the sport? Then don’t make it $500-$1000 for a weekend skills clinic and more of us will join/improve our riding/ bring others into the sport. It’s a pricey sport for us ‘normal’ wage earners.

Fast-forward 2 years after this & Casey Brown, Vero Sandler, and some others that weren't at this particular formation event, such as kiwi freaking legend, Robin Goomes, have just smashed it at DarkFest in South Africa 3 weeks ago. Hitting the biggest mtb jumps ever made, as equals with the boys, with the worlds best freeriders & slopestyle riders. Even up to an insane 90 foot gap! The longest mtb gap ever made.. Robin Goomes made history as the first woman to ever backflip at Crankworx Speed & Style last year, & she opened up the 90 footer for the woman at DarkFest this year, followed by Casey Brown.. And Chelsey Kimbal, at last years Formation, just a year after this one, hit the famous canyon gap, as well as being the Queen of Darkfest this year.. A point where woman will not only be competing at Rampage, but competing as equals, is coming sooner than you think.. The rate of female progression in Freeride MTB is perhaps the most exciting & rapid progression in any sport in years..

This the birth of something much bigger and moving towards a better place for all in Freeride MTB, woman or man. I feel that this has bee a long time coming and happy to see the start of it. After about 3 years the last Keurig stopped working kzbin.infoUgkxBrV-RbF5Nk0Rlt9i15aao-YMzqzTG8Vf initially was able to unblock, however eventually we couldn't fix. That one was a replacement unit sent by the manufacturer after we had problems with our very first Keurig. This works fine (lol, at least for now) however I didn't realize the water reservoir was so much smaller than our prior unit. With 2 people having one or two cups of coffee each morning, it seems like I'm refilling it daily. Otherwise just happy to have the convenience of pod coffee vs. making a morning pot.

I don't like big jumps. Drifting is fun and way more skill needed. Not a lot of mountain bicyclists drift in kitty litter. Falling into some big junk looks man made and irritating. Drifting on flat's my main likey. Groovy slopes and straight kitty litter.

The future is Jesus Christ! We have no future without Him. This world is dying and the desires thereof. He has eternity with pleasures forever more for us who love Him! Flash and dash and esteem in this world is dung. I'm ready to rip here in love and the gospel and for eternity shred and get stoked for the King Eternal!!! Get ready for the world to sink. Put the shovel down and pick up your bible cuz He loves all and isn't willing any should perish. There's nothing wrong with biking but it is consuming in a strange unnatural way. Be careful with anything that takes presidence over fellowship with Christ and His Word

So sick to see women riding this sort of stuff. I hope to see a proper women's category in rampage and also hardline would be sick too. It would be very healthy for the expansion of the sport. If there is proper women's categories in all events it'll likely get more women/girls starting up too. The women are very capable riders too so why not. I think it'd be great.
