I understand the rescue idea but if she said in the last video that noone takes care of them like her and she isn't there most of the time apparently why get more now and not wait? I was shocked she drove with the one by her feet! If she had to hit the brakes suddenly, the poor thing would've been smoshed, or she wouldn't be able to brake properly out of fear of hurting the bird. Very dangerous

Alex the dove door knocker was holding an olive branch, that's a symbol for peace. In the bible when Noah built the Arc it rained for 40 days and 40 nights, everything was flooded. On the arc there were 2 of every animal, Noah sent all the birds that could fly out to look and see if they could find land, and the beautiful Dove brought back an olive branch back to him and he knew all would be ok!! I hope this helps you understand why the dove is a symbol of peace and happiness!

I love Dirk Gently, it's so chaotic but makes sense in the end 💜. I was a Douglas Adam's fan to start with though. (I've only seen the tv show of Dirk Gently but I plan to read the books...was surprised I hadn't the amount I read.). Odd things happen sometimes so we can prove our meddle. I was supposed to go home Sunday night and I did something odd to my back again (I have repeated issues) but I can't look after my baby goats in case I have to lift them. My dad feeds them when I need a break/it's icy and rough on my knees (I have Lupus). Clay's a lot of fun, I was dying laughing about the sewing machine incident. I do need to still catch up quite a bit though.

A possible option for Lola the rooster is what I did, I don't know Australia's stipulations on therapy animals. In the USA, we can have a psychological Dr, fill out paperwork, make a questionable animal, and a therapy animal. I had a silkie rooster living full time in the house as a registered therapy animal. He couldn't be touched.

@Lvee I wasn't abusing the system or even asking for it. I am a person with diagnosed severe mental illness, and the psychologist I was seeing heard me talking about my dear animal in a lot of my appointments. Without me asking, he presented me with the paperwork and instructions on how to get him on the national registry. As I an not in direct contact with Alex except for snippets on KZbin, all I see is how happy she is with her animals, especially her birds and wanted to give her an option for Lola.

Just saying hi and wishing everyone a lovely day for a start. I haven't commented lately because when I start looking at the comment section I get angry. And also feel my anxiety rising because I'm realizing what weird things people assume and say about others. Makes me want to stay at home alone even more. My god. Also the pretending like everyone around Alex isn't a grownup able to make their own decisions and take care of themselves is astonishing. Every day has 24 hours. Just because it feels like you see and know everything doesn't mean that it is. There's at least 80% we don't see. Probably more. What would people think of you if they saw a few select minutes of a couple of days per month of your life? Do you think they would know everyone they see or hear about and understand relationship dynamics and magically know what else you got going on? Wow. Now I'm going back to not reading the comments anymore. This used to be such a nice place until people wanting to see PPP instead of Alex showed up.
