Meeting Audi TT Owners in The UK... And Getting My ABS Pump!

This is one very special Audi TT Vlog. My friend, Andy Davies, a fellow KZbinr from the UK was able to get me the ABS Pump Controller unit I couldn't find in the US. The part went bad in my 2001 TT. Andy organized a group of fellow Audi TT owners with very special cars to go meet me at my hotel the day I arrived in London for a business trip. I met a great group of guys and did walkarounds with their cars. Special thanks to Andy for sourcing that part for my TT. I was able to bring it home in the checked baggage.

I'm a British guy now living in Germany, owner of a 225 roadster. TT parts are easier to get here than in the US, but expensive. Servicing costs are expensive too. I drove from the south of Germany to the north of England (1000 miles each way)to get a new clutch fitted, and to swap in a second hand baseball leather interior. Including fuel and ferry, it was cheaper than getting a clutch fitted here in Munich, with money left in my pocket. And I visited friends and family too. The 225 didn't miss a beat. Finding a baseball interior here in Germany is impossible, but they come up now and again in the UK. The TT guys in Britain don't know how good they've got it. I've followed you guys for a while, and your videos have helped me out a few times. Thanks for the video.
