I just found my birth parents last week, after 25 years of holding my breath. I'm so glad you found your birth mother and she was open to seeing you again. Cheers to you!

Awesome video! I am an adoptee and found my birth parents just over a year ago. They were married 2 years after I was born. I have 2 full sisters and lots of aunts uncles and cousins. The reunion has had some rough spots but over all its been a wonderful experience. Birth father....not so much but oh well his loss. I'm so happy for you!!

Michelle, I thank God for you're not having any resentments towards your mom. I don't know how she lost you, but I am happy to see you in this video meeting her finally in person. I believe she must have so many sleepless nights trying to find you. I am glad that you're both reunited now. Hope you and your mom have a lot of fun after. God bless you and your mom!

I, by pure chance, went to work today and tuned on my computer and went to You Tube and there you were. Thank you so much for making this so people could share the joy and love between you and your mother. It started of my day exactly like I would like to start every day in my life.....knowing that there are some wonderful people out there. You both lifted my spirits.

I'm 22 and adopted from Romania and I grew up in Germany. I never really tried finding my birth mother because I'm so afraid... but every time I see these wonderful reunion videos on youtube I have hope but yet it makes me even more afraid that I won't be lucky and she doesn't want to meet me... :/

about1minute I know it must b one of the most scariest things ever BUT get ur self to a place where u say to ur self it’s now or never, end of the day I know rejection is horrible but if u don’t try u won’t ever know, u will spend the rest of ur life beating ur self up over it wondering if she would of rejected u or wether she would of welcomed u with open arms, just take that chance if she does reject u at least u know that for what ever reason she’s got issues because it would b on her not u because u have done nothing wrong, BUT if u find her & any other family & they r happy to see u & welcome u with open arms then that’ll b amazing! Life’s so delicate & so short make the most of it because if u leave it too late u will never know & end up regretting it, I lost both my parents in 2014 & miss them so much, I wish u all the best God has a plan for us all weather u believe in him or not, try the dna websites & see how that goes, sending u love & light from the uk xxxx

I hope this happens between my me and my dad. He left when I was 1, and just this past February, my mom ran into him, and we've been talking ever since (though it was extremely hard at first). We haven't officially met yet, because his home is in Minnesota, and I live in Kentucky, but I hope sometime next Summer I can fly out to see him, or vice versa. But I'm really happy for you! This definitely made me cry :)

This was a wonderful video and I too am a Birth mom and I have found my son but he is only 16 and is not ready for a relationship with me yet so I am gonna give him all the time he needs..But not tooo long:P. I loved this video and the music. How are things with your birth mom now? What questions did you have for her? Its hard for both parties. I have a year and a half until my son is 18 and then I guess I will find out what questions he has for me. But y story is a lil different he was taken.

belle It’s horrible for the adoptive parents that non parents want back on the child’s life after they are adults and the hard work is done, if you give up your child the you give them up forever

@@BigRed2 That's a very hard liner way of looking at things. Each situation is different and requires caring and patience and awareness for the Triad (adult child, a-parents, b-parents). There are support groups available for navigating reunion.

I am so glad you found your son. I have a daughter that I did not want to chose the adoption plan for, but because I ws an international student in the US I had no rights and ultimately mothers choice. We recieved pictures and letters every 6 months but the mother no longer speaks to me and will not share anything with me. I feel so hurt and ashamed. Scared I will never have a child and a daughter. I may never see anything again ;( good luck to anyway else in these situations.

hendinho87 my heart broke seeing ur comment & I had to reply to u so hope u don’t mind, don’t ever give up hope it may feel like forever sometimes & feel frustrating too but God has a plan for us all & sometimes it’s so easy to think he’s not there helping u but one day u will see he is & that he loves u like he loves everyone, sometimes hope is all we have so never give up hope, put ur dna into all the dna websites & when u know they r old enough for u to seek them out if u don’t by then get anything from the dna sites then try a lady called cece she’s American & she’s truest amazing at finding lost loved ones who’ve been adopted she’s even recently started helping police solve cold case murders she is absolutely amazing, so see how the dna sites go & when the time comes if nothing from the sites try her, anyway God bless u & sending love & light to u from me in the uk xxxx

I often wonder what it would be like to meet my birth parents. I have a million questions for them, such as "why?" I don't mean that in a negative way. I'm just curious. I know people have to give up their child for some reason or another, so I'm not bitter. and I do want to apologize for being 12 days late. :p that must have been hell on her.

Try the dna websites they can b expensive but do one at a time n save it’s so worth it, also if u get no luck there then there’s a woman in America called cece can’t remember her last name but she’s quite well known she’s amazing at finding people & recently she’s managed to help police solve cold case murders thru the same method too, God bless & good luck, don’t ever give up hope because sometimes hope is all we have 💓 sending u love & light xxx

So, according to what I am reading here, the adoption parents were just only the benefactors of the adoptee. Just, like a tool for rising them, taking care of them and nothing else, etc. The true parents are the biological, uhmm, so according to what is written by all these persons, the adoption parents are just that, some type of benefactors, like a ckn acct...uhmmm interesting. I thought it was all the way around, that the real parents were the adoption parents. Well, i was wrong I guess.
