It's so amazing that Paul I is still on stage and going strong over 60 years since the BEATLES debuted together back in Liverpool. The man and his music are truly ageless and remain timely.

Look at this crowd. Wonderful mix. Only other performer who draws similar that I've been to is BILL JOEL. Same reasons. Extraordinary performance by a master singer/songwriter and yes... legend. Look at him! He's approaching his 80's and looks/sounds half that age. Amazing.

09:07 - a clip of McCartney's concert in Rosemount Horizon Chicago in December 1989. At 13:12 Paul says it's his first time in Chicago in 50 years?

He was just being cheeky. He meant that it FELT like it’s been at least fifty years. Think about it: 50 years ago (from the date of this interview) would have been 1951 and he was only 9 years old, he’d never even left England at that point 😂

I'm sure they're nice gents and must obviously be what Paul wants in terms of skills and temperament, but I'll never understand why he dropped Robbie McIntosh. Such a sensitive player and seemed to suit Paul's music perfectly.

Not a Beatle fan. Could care less about any of them. Rolling Stones Rock. 💋👅

The Rolling Stones liked the Beatles and I think you meant that you 'couldn't care less'!

Thanks for letting us know. We were wondering.
@Londoneye573 жыл бұрын
You must care a bit or you wouldn't have bothered commenting or even watching. BTW ''Could care less'', what you should have said was ''couldn't care less''. Lennon & McCartney gave away a throwaway song they had, they gave it to the Stones, that was the Stones first hit, they may not have made it without that help.

I’m sorry, he seems like a very nice guy, but I’ve never been impressed with this drummer, and I see why Paul chose him: Paul’s own solo career was very stale and unoriginal. If you listen to the drum fills, they’re very lazy. And they do not match the song at all. I know the guy is on time, professional, and a very nice person. But the fact is he’s a session drummer, he’s made his career off of it. Hence, he’s going to sound very stale.

I've seen him live 8 (?) times. AMAZING drummer!!

You obviously haven’t listened to Paul’s solo career. He did the most experimentally, original, and innovative album an ex Beatle ever did with McCartney II
