My crappy old boss had a Commander 5.7 but acted like he had a GCherokee srt. I had a Grand Prix GXP with mad plastic interior. As much as he often bragged about being faster, he hated carpooling in my car even more because of the reflection off of my dash that I polished to clearcoat simply out of spite. He needed both hands + visor to see anything. Supreme Shine spray for life. Ever since, every surface possible on any car is greased like a crane game. I have to drive with sandpaper.

Meguiar's gel on a microfibre towel is the best thing for tyre shine. I've been using the same cloth for years so it's black and well soaked at this point, it leaves a nice satin finish with just a little bit of gel per tyre.

Suds Lab T3 use an applicator pad, suds Lab makes one that's reversible for scrubbing and application, don't use it for both. Great matte finish with some shine and smells awesome.

I've always associated them with old people or the guys you saw on early Cops episodes with them donked out. tire shine applicators still always end up giving me thin application unless i use a ton of product. I still stand by just completely slathering it with a brush and working the product in, let it cure for a little bit then take down the excess with a light microfiber wipe
