I love that Sai shows respect to her father by dressing more conservatively. She always looks amazing and gorgeous, but that is so lovely to see the respect. Well done guys for an insight into Sais family. Thanks for sharing.

M I have to disagree! Do you dress exactly the same all the time? There’s a time to dress up and a time to dress down. When You are trying to make a good impression, do you wear worn comfortable street or work clothes, or do you dress up a little? Would you wear ( as an example) jeans and a t shirt to an evening wear dress casual party? No, that’s time to wear a suit, or at least a nice shirt, blazer and slacks. We all have those times and places. This was a formal introduction, Adam should have dressed better too!

Watching this takes me back to my younger days, My Thai wife, the women that I am living with as I speak, her father was also a Monk in the last years of his life. Some monks move from Wat to Wat and he was always stopping in to see us and visiting with his daughter until he died of lung cancer. We both miss him and his wife, my wife's mother. the ashes of both of them are together at a home temple made by my wife and me. Sai, I love your stories as they bring back the days of my younger life. I am currently married to my second Thai wife as the first wife who I miss very much, died of cancer.

An amazing and awesome video. This shows the actual roots of the ancient Thai culture, you could become very modern or fashionable or advance but still you keep some traditions in your mind and whenever you have a chance you express those beautiful traditions fluently. This is beauty of whole Asia, Asians still stuck to older traditions and love their culture. This is another side of Sai.

This was your most awesome video to date. We saw a slice of Thai culture far removed from Walking Street. We also saw how respectful Sai is to both her father and grandmother. Certainly not a practiced trait in the U.S. We saw how sharing food is a valued tradition and best of all we allowed to see Sai in a non exploited manner. Great video.

Good to meet Sai's Grandma and Dad. Grandma is storing enough food for the next 5 years, kinda common when you get old. I visited my mom regularly but Boom, a heart attack and she was gone at 89. I also didn't think Monks ever had children but I never got that far into their culture. Nice insight into the rural life. I kinda bet both of them noticed Sai gained a few pounds but held it to themselves unlike me!! Visit them often and enjoy their stories!!!
