Does Sai interact with her daughter? I don't know the culture so just asking. And if that was not a good question, sorry. Thanks
@notredame68474 жыл бұрын
@@JoeLeach that is just good and normal question. That is why her father doesn't respect him. Because of him, she left her daughter instead of besides her daughter and takes care of her. In Thailand that is not normal living as her.

Erna Wati you have no idea what you are talking about, Sai doesn’t even have a daughter lol.
@imfine-ok15364 жыл бұрын
Sai you should tell your dad that it might be against the rules of buddhist monks for monks to use face book. One of the rules of monks is that a monk should not watch a show: movies, stage performance, etc... Face book might fall under that category.

Thank you for this most informative insight to your fathers life, and temple traditions. I really felt the respect Sai has for her father, and how humble she really was about getting him facebook. (How she couldn't say no...even though it would be more work to explain how to use). There is such a respect for family, which I'm sad to say is lost in the western world. Our children need to see, and learn from Sai's culture, and village. You are an inspiring couple, and I wish you the best always...Jay... ❤🙏

My Thai wife's mother is a monk in Thailand as well. Met my wife here in the United States while she was vacationing here with her mother, a hotelier in Chaing Mai. Upon her mothers return she shaved her head, and donned the saffron robes, and earns merit serving at Duy Sutep. In her early life she had been a movie actress, and later a recording artist with some number of record albums. My wife had been a tiki, and hula dancer at the Chok Chai Steakhouse Rooftop Garden restaurant from age 13-19, and then she was a singer at the Don Juan night club in BKK. After graduating from BKK University she then worked for the wife of the chief of police in BKK for 20 years as her right hand man. My wife has led an extraordinary life, and I am lucky to have won her heart. We have been together for twelve years now living in California where she earned her masters degree, and is now teaching. Regretfully I have never been to Thailand but after watching a couple of your videos, and others of transnational couples, my desire to make the long trip has grown. BTW, we had a teen Thai gal live with us for a couple of years, and she could be Sai's younger twin.
