These i.di.t union leaders had told the members that they agreed for lower hike in wage only for implementation of 5 days banking. When they sacrificed hike of wage for 5 days banking, they must take responsibility for 5 days banking implementation immediately. Unless members resigned from their existing unions, there is no chance of 5 days banking. All members must ask their leaders , starting from the regional level, that what happened to 5 days banking. Members must target leaders. Stop monthly subscription immediately.

At any cost govt will not allow to loose it's share of income in the form of tax on interest income of depositors. So obviously people i.e depositors will move to another investment opportunities in order to get higher return. Already banks are giving less than 8 percent and that too int income is taxable.It clearly demotivate depositors to approach bank for deposit.

There's no point of merging the rrbs with sponsor bank, it will end the existence of RRBs and will violate the sole purpose of creating rrbs..... union members who are demanding it why did't you join the psubs instead of RRBs in the 1st place ??

Actually these idiot union leaders do not want to implement 5 days banking at any cost, because these are retired and do not have any benefit from it. Only making foolish to employees. Now employees have only way that is stop monthly subscription/ union fee deduction to teach the lesson to them. We bankers jindabaad

As usual most useless meeting from Retirees prospective as Pension Revision gets least importance under the pretext of " matter subjudice". If FM agrees to increase Pension, nobody ( including Court ) takes objection.
