Happy 3 year anniversary being on social media. Time flys doesn't it.... Glad BJ was not directly affected by the recent shooting, it is something to be concerned about. Glad you have built a relationship with him that keeps the communication open...That 3 day weekend worked out nicely for Brian especially with his mom visiting... I'm cheap with my groceries for the most part too. I even coupon to lower the out of pocket cost. i use to use more paper coupons but these days i use the digital ones mostly. i cut back on utilities also. I didn't turn on the air until summer was mostly done in August. I bought extra fans and opened almost every window in the house. Trying to pay off the mortgage and take a trip later this year. Got to give some things up temporarily ro reach my goals.

To Brian, I had an Old Fashioned when I was in NC, and it is terrible! I feel that drink is for old men, that can drink Jack Daniels straight and have been drinking for a while! Sorry. As for the school shooting, it is definitely a scary feeling when you children or grandchildren that have to go to school. You just have to pray, and ask God to keep them safe when they are away from home. No place is safe nowadays, which is sad.
