One of the most honest and real female artist I've ever heard. It really hurts inside listening to Meg, but I appreciate her honesty and pouring out her emotions in her yelps, screams and voice changes. I saw her in a small club and she was so emotional and was fighting so many demons, but it was a very beautiful and gut wrenching evening. I applaud Meg for her uniqueness.

I don’t hear emotion or see it in this performance at all. I hear a amazing singer who knows her vocal tonalities and how to switch it up… I see her thinking and concentrating on how navigate her vocals. I don’t see any emotions behind her eyes while singing, it’s like a robot talking and singing, but a robot that knows how to sound emotion, but lacks it true pure emotion. Emotion is in the eyes and she is devoid of it. It’s odd. It’s compelling because of it.

I just discovered this treasure going on 3 weeks ago now and became an instant huge fan! Her cover of running up that hill popped up in my YT feed, and I love that song so I gave it a listen, and Meg floored me! The best cover of that song I ever heard! And that voice!! So naturally I checked out her channel and I loved everything she had done and I went to iTunes and bought it all! And found that her voice is super addictive! I have been playing her music on a loop for hours everyday while I’m driving (I’m a truck driver) even if I only plan on listening to one song, I just get pulled back in and next thing I know all the songs have played through and the loop is restarting! I’m 51, and have enjoyed 100’s of artists, 1000’s of songs and of course have had lots of absolute favourite singers, and dear little Meg has destroyed them all! As I read in another comment here, she has a multi facetted voice like she has more than one working in harmony! I just got to this video so its the first I have heard doing a live stripped down show, and just fell deeper in love with voice! She literally gave me goosebumps!

The string players and the rawness of Meg’s voice - I love this version of her songs 3x more than the album version.

This is just so lovely. Everything about it; vocals, strings, light percussion, piano... Just amazing!

Dope. Same artist, different emotion every time. She is playing with her voice and her eyes are like fire. What a relief she is for me. Fresh air nowadays. I want to continue listening to her and i really cannot take my eyes off her while singing and expressing her soul and feelings. I like her screaming, gently signing and craziness in her gestures. D.O.P.E. - dangerous opportunistic purest environment.

Its a good thing, leaving space in music is good. There is a string quartet also so leaving space for them and vocal is important and very astute of the pianist. He's acting bass if you haven't noticed.. FYI

Intense. In the best possible way. Love the way she really opens up the vocal. So special.

On late night performances they autotune out of existence all the interesting parts of her vocals. Thanks NPR for your Tiny Desk. Thank you MM for the excellent cover of Kate Bush's classic.

It's like she is singing from the inside out. Brave expression and hopefully therapeutic! Brought whole new nuance to an already wonderful Kate Bush classic.

I love this so much better. Her regular stuff is over produced. I would love to see her collab with Jack white.

I enjoy a slick production but it is nice to hear it all stripped away and know that the songs don’t depend on it at all.

She’s like Portishead, Alanis, Amy Lee, but better than all of them combined, way edgier and way creepy in a good way lol. Cannot even believe I haven’t heard of this girl until now and found her by complete accident, her “desire” video was recommended after listening to Grimes and Purity Ring on YT. YT actually did something amazing for me for once. So thank you.🙏can’t get enough now.

How is she not SO much more well known? Supremely talented, gorgeous, incredible vocal control, can write her own songs, deep and interesting....Knowing the music industry and celebrity, she probably refused to sleep with the "right" people.

I just have listened to at least 30 recordings of Meg Myers and I wanna say that this one is the best. Thanks to Meg again and to the band, these guys are really making this so cool, all my praises go to you!
