One of the most honest and real female artist I've ever heard. It really hurts inside listening to Meg, but I appreciate her honesty and pouring out her emotions in her yelps, screams and voice changes. I saw her in a small club and she was so emotional and was fighting so many demons, but it was a very beautiful and gut wrenching evening. I applaud Meg for her uniqueness.

If you understand astrological symbolism and that Meg has Libra Sun with Scorpio Moon conjunct Scorpio Venus, and then earlier Scorpio Pluto conjunct Scorpio Mercury...well, I'd say you encapsulated that combo pretty well. An interesting mix of vulnerability, raw emotion, sensitivity, and some edgy anger/resentment.
@TheTransitmtl

@@justinw1765 But astrology isn't real though. Can you explain to me the mecanism by which planets that are dozens and hundreds of AU away and stars that are light years away affect the personality of people born on certain days. I don’t hear emotion or see it in this performance at all. I hear a amazing singer who knows her vocal tonalities and how to switch it up… I see her thinking and concentrating on how navigate her vocals. I don’t see any emotions behind her eyes while singing, it’s like a robot talking and singing, but a robot that knows how to sound emotion, but lacks it true pure emotion. Emotion is in the eyes and she is devoid of it. It’s odd. It’s compelling because of it.

So, I had to thank my grown 24 yr.old daughter , yet again , after watching this early morning. My baby girl showed me this remarkable and gifted young woman , 5 or so yrs. ago. I'm very open minded and have raised my children to love and appreciate all kinds of genres of music. However, she's one of my little gems that I keep returning too time and time again. So visceral and raw! Every single word that flows from her mouth to my ears, seems to magically connect to my inner being. Thank you again "Sweet Girl!" { Ms.L}

Maaaan, the VENOM of her vocal delivery in that first song alone, and that LOOK in her eyes...For the first few seconds I thought 'what is she doing, she's all over the place, she can't be serious'....Oh yes she can. From personal experience many people cant get passed a few songs of Meg's without saying they dislike it or its not for them . However, great music isn't necessarily instant gratification and nor should it be. If you listen to her music you will hopefully "get it" and get where she is singing from. In my humble opinion Meg is one of only a few artists in the last 10 years that actually matter. She is, as is her music, simply awesome.

It's always interesting sharing her music with friends and showing them how she is performing live and how they're weirded out, but as a singer, the way you move is crucial to how you sound, and it's so cool to me that she uses her movements to create her own sound and to also express herself and just let it all out.

I just discovered this treasure going on 3 weeks ago now and became an instant huge fan! Her cover of running up that hill popped up in my YT feed, and I love that song so I gave it a listen, and Meg floored me! The best cover of that song I ever heard! And that voice!! So naturally I checked out her channel and I loved everything she had done and I went to iTunes and bought it all! And found that her voice is super addictive! I have been playing her music on a loop for hours everyday while I’m driving (I’m a truck driver) even if I only plan on listening to one song, I just get pulled back in and next thing I know all the songs have played through and the loop is restarting! I’m 51, and have enjoyed 100’s of artists, 1000’s of songs and of course have had lots of absolute favourite singers, and dear little Meg has destroyed them all! As I read in another comment here, she has a multi facetted voice like she has more than one working in harmony! I just got to this video so its the first I have heard doing a live stripped down show, and just fell deeper in love with voice! She literally gave me goosebumps!

Honestly ive been listening to meg since she started and her style of singing has always deeply resonated with me. It resonates with my struggles with mental illness. Specially when im triggered. That person that comes out to protect me and that person that comes out to fight my demons. Ita really hard to explain. Its both insanely vulnerable and hyper defensive. The deepest parts of me that are really scary and difficult to express. I love her music so much and it helped me through so much. She is truly unique ❤❤

Aww Meg, I am a huge Kate Bush fan. When I heard this song, the way you covered it, I had tears streaming down my face. It was beautiful, respectful, and I have heard so many covers of this song, and yours captured its urgency, its pain, and its absolute beauty. Thank you for such a beautiful and respectful cover of a masterpiece.

Like, "Don't make her mad! She threw a knife at me yesterday!" Kidding aside: Meg has made quasi-violent videos, so there is that element. I am sure she is not actually, really violent, though.

I can't get enough of Meg. I suffer from BPD, and it comes with such crazy emotions and thinking. I'm not saying that is what she has, but when I hear Meg's lyrics and how she sings, I feel like there is someone out there who understands the dark depths of emotions and the mind that most never experience. I really hope to see her live one day and bathe in the energy she produces.

I hated this the first time I heard this. I even laughed how she says "Drunk". Then after some time i realized maybe it was just me....but ...it's grown on me. For the past few weeks I can't stop watching this video. I started checking out her other live performances. This woman is ...maddening. I hate how much she's in my head. So... yeah...that's what's been happening. Truly an artist.

Meg's pain will eventually subside and with it, her raw tone. Safe places will be found for the hurt - then, a relatable point will be reached by the masses and her music finally appreciated for its unequivocal beauty. I don't believe an artist can reach stardom by being honest - Power to you Meg !

Dope. Same artist, different emotion every time. She is playing with her voice and her eyes are like fire. What a relief she is for me. Fresh air nowadays. I want to continue listening to her and i really cannot take my eyes off her while singing and expressing her soul and feelings. I like her screaming, gently signing and craziness in her gestures. D.O.P.E. - dangerous opportunistic purest environment.

She’s like Portishead, Alanis, Amy Lee, but better than all of them combined, way edgier and way creepy in a good way lol. Cannot even believe I haven’t heard of this girl until now and found her by complete accident, her “desire” video was recommended after listening to Grimes and Purity Ring on YT. YT actually did something amazing for me for once. So thank you.🙏can’t get enough now.
