Leia Jacobs thanks for the feedback! Did you know doctor translates to “teacher” in Latin? Funny how most doctors don’t teach 😉 -Dr. Matt
@nou4me5 жыл бұрын
@@LifespringChiropractic LOL even in college most people standing at the head of the class are doctors and still don't teach. My Latin is so rusty it turned to dust. So thanks for that lesson as well.

I am also in Austin, I don’t need a chiropractor right now, but I like watching stuff like this.
@realrebelli0n4 жыл бұрын
It would be beneficial to visit a decent chiropractor at least once or better twice a year, just to proactively keep you in balance, which would make it less likely for problems to occur as we get older.
@realrebelli0n4 жыл бұрын
It's the same thinking as with dentists, we should go somewhat regularly, and not only when problems start to pop up. Same goes for chiros.

Another awesome video! Quick question - why do some chiropractors on KZbin adjust every bone in every patient's body using the same techniques every time, whether the person is complaining about low back pain, neck pain or something else? No matter the problem, they adjust the person's feet, their shoulders, fingers, chest and a bunch of other stuff. After watching 2-3 of those videos, you know exactly what's coming next because they do the exact same routine.
@donschannel335 жыл бұрын
Holistic Chiropractors do the whole body adjustments - just a different method. Quick Google search for more info on the different kinds :) Dr Gregory Johnson would be an example, same with Dr. Joseph Cipriano, they do minor changes depending on the patient but mostly adjust the same for the most part, as a whole.
@TK-ui2th5 жыл бұрын
gonstead chiros (dr rahim, dr suh) do very specific adjustments for each patient depending on their needs, while others do the routine adjustments down the line.
@G3NZC0R1LY5 жыл бұрын
Miranda Jackson yeah Dr. Suh is great. There’s also Intero Chiropractic which is gonstead and of course this channel is great as well (not gonstead but still cool).
@LifespringChiropractic5 жыл бұрын
Mark D. Hall great question. Just different approaches. I blend a few techniques. Gonstead is the base technique that I use and it’s focused on specificity. That’s why we get such great results! I can’t speak for other chiropractors out there, but it all works. We are holistic in our philosophy just like the ones that adjust every joint in the body. All that means is treating the body as a whole rather than focusing on where the pain may be or individual parts. To me it makes sense that if a joint is not moving, add motion to it. I would never add movement to a joint that is already moving normal or moving too much. All the best. -Dr. Matt

your malpractice insurance is cheaper because you're doing virtually nothing. yes, there is the off chance a neck adjustment could sever an artery in the neck, but it's incredibly rare. but your brag about cheap insurance actually demonstrates the opposite of what you think it does. when your procedures are at worst placebo and at best temporary pain relief, not much can go wrong. but also, not much is permanently fixed, you know, like actual evidence-based medicine and surgical procedures. that's not to say all surgery is good or better, it's just not imaginary or subjective.
@blabberblabbing89353 жыл бұрын
Well, insurance companies base their decisions on scientific data. While I was surprised of hearing this - chiro insurance costs being "cheap" - all I know about chiropractic effectivness is that some meta-studies couldn't find evidence of it working. Yet afaik there's no wealth of studies showing it's not working too and imo the issue is with studies evaluating the effectiveness of different theoretical approaches/different techniques VS different problems. Something works and something doesn't but it's silly to attempt to judge everything together: it's like evaluating "surgery", does it work? Of course it depends. Do you have any source that can change my perspective?
@tacomas96025 жыл бұрын
so does any female come in without wearing skin tight clothing? Lol
@noramorrison22905 жыл бұрын
Speaking from experience, I always wear yoga pants to my adjustments because they allow a lot more movement than wearing jeans.
@evalynn18634 жыл бұрын
yoga pants and a tank/tee are my go-to because they're loose and allow movement but not baggy so they don't get in the way. It's the best option for what's being done.
