I do have to point out that that brute foot mold isn’t new. It was created for Tartarus in series 10. So, it shouldn’t be used with these figures TBH.

The grunt is red to show that it’s a Grunt major, the recon get away set had a grunt with orange armor to show it’s a grunt minor.

The extra heads were included because early production run Brutes didn't have the peg hole in the head. Looks like you got a later production one so the replacement heads are redundant.

You can make a brute prowler like me from this set! Also the second build looks like an upscaled version of the scitterers from Halo Wars as @Sonicjohn117 has said in his review of this set!

@Demacartion Media You dont have to sand the neck, I take any liquid and wet the head hole, then slip it on, it is still stiffish to turn, but you dont have to risk sanding too much

I like the exclusive brute heads because i have 1 halo 3 brute and 2 banished. A minor banished brute and decimus. So i can pop them in the halo 3 one and the banished brute minor

almost a year later and it would seem that though they have fixed the grunt heads and removed the excess brute heads, the brute feet remain too large to fit in line between studs... weird design choice

Just finished assembling this set, and I’d say it goes together pretty well, if you have more than two braincells unlike me. (I spent about a half hour trying to build the gear mechanism, only to realize I was using the wrong gear.)
