In Infinite we will encounter former Covenant member mercenaries who either take up contract work for or pledge themselves to the Banished, but they're still mercs first & foremost and most likely weren't even aligned during the time of Atriox.

I thought so too! Like the visor piece would have a peg for the top of the head and then droop over the side, like maybe over one of their eyes like in Halo 2

Personally I can’t wait for that. I have lots of Carbines, Needle Rifles, and a few Beam Rifles and Focus Rifles ready for some Jackal Snipers.

I‘m really glad that you haven‘t forgotten about the Mega Construx sets and hope to see some more reviews aside from Halo in the future. The format of covering multiple sets within a video is a good one, if LEGO is the main focus of the channel now, it‘s a compromise I‘m happy with. Keep it up!

It’s so childish how some LEGO fans have the idea that “if it’s not LEGO it’s not good.” The world doesn’t work like that, there’s enough difference between the brands and Mega has really good quality.

COBI has very good World War II models of tanks and vehicles. Plus, they are home made in the country of origin of the company too. Quality is also superb as well. I think some of those Lego fans think that Lego is the best, because they perfected the brick-baaed system first before Mega, and COBI came along.

I agree, but for me Lego is the best because I'm building a city and Lego has such a nice colour pallet with warm colours. Cobis white for instance is very cold, with Legos being warm.

@Stewart Moran lego doesn't make things as detailed and accurate as mega construx so if Lego made halo the sets would be blocky and unrealistic

I agree that the brand is underated, but it could be do to store availablity and interest not many shops/stores have mega Bloks/Construx and Lego is very popular in comparison and it is a higher quality plastic. I haven't seen a mega Bloks add in forever (UK) it's a shame, because they are really stepping up there quality and production, I've recently started getting into it, these halo infinite sets will be my first, I'm gonna have to track down the 10 anniversary sets as well.

Fun fact Grunts are between six and five feet in halo lore that’s about the size of a fully grown adult male. The reason why they look short is because you’re a super soldier that’s about 8 feet tall.

Let’s be honest, with the whole rescaling of the Marines, Mega needs to redo the entire scale. The brutes are supposed to tower over everyone except hunters. We need mega to make the scales almost as accurate as the games

Then they'll have to rescale all the vehicles too, and then they might not work with people's existing collections. I'm not too bothered about it to be honest, but I agree that ideally they would have a regular soldier scale for grunts and marines and a super soldier scale for brutes, elites, Promethean soldiers and Spartans.

I appreciate that the Marines are finally scaling up to COD scale, and I hope that they do end up making all of the figures on the same scale, so they can all be used together. The fact that they made them two separate scales in the first place (COD/Destiny and Halo/Everything Else) was infuriating. Now I get to start scaling up my existing figures with COD legs from my collection in anticipation.

One thing I've noticed is that all the Infinite Marines they've released so far have different variants of armor. The one that comes with the Warthog has MC's shoulder pads, the two that come with the mongoose have new shoulder pads and no shoulder pads, and the one that comes with the AA gun has a comms pack, a third type of shoulder pad, and extra belt/hip accessories.

I really want that recon getaway. It would be a great Army Builder. I also personaly like the design of the mongoose. The best figure in my opinion is the elite as it has the original design.

glad to see the old jackal vulture heads are back from halo 2 and 3, the dino heads always bugged me, now if only we could get the beak boys back from halo ce and i can be happy with the two types of the bungie era, im guessing the head hole is for a jackal sniper helmet im thinking and hoping

In lore, Grunts are actually usually 5 ft talk, and sometimes even taller. They only seem small and puny because you are a 6-7ft y’all super soldier spartan, and they are used as cannon fodder.

i used this version of the warthog as a base for a moc "hover-hog". its really easy to change the orientation of the wheels by removing a few pins and reversing how the suspension is connected. then just stick some clear bricks on the underside and voila DeLorean hover-hog

Really love the new Warthog design. It looks realistic and of really high quality. The new suspension is superb! The detailed "dip" in the middle is accurate and very nicely done. The figures are great; the only problem I would have is the leg length of the marine.

I'm happy to see that these new set are plentiful. I've been to over a dozen Targets and, the shelves have been stocked full. Walmart are getting rid of them though. I came across new figures on clearance for $3. Sometimes they ring up as $1. This includes the entire 2020 line of figures to date. Yes I bought an entire case for $23. Tax included.

For anyone wondering, they have the same shoulder pads because shoulder pads play a big role in motion sensors. It only makes sense to give every unsc trooper a motion sensor. Why wouldn't you?

True but we really don't know much about the Covenant/no longer exists. Its The Created and The Banished now.
