Bonanza Bros.! (Disclaimer: just because something has "bros." in the title, that doesn't make it related to Mario Bros.)
Bonanza Bros. was originally a Sega System 24 arcade game released in 1990. This Mega Drive port was released a year later.
Compared to the Arcade version, this version looks and plays far less smooth and fast, on top of the AI of the opposition being far different (and simpler). The port is different enough for it to honestly be more like a re-interpretation of the same game idea than a port, which isn't uncommon for the time.
Although not without flaws, the controls handle a little bit weird, they're stiff and a little bit unresponsive, this is still an extremely fun game, and an early example of a dual screen simultaneous co-op game on console. Hard difficulty honestly doesn't even seem to change too much, I only noticed a couple of differences at best compared to the other difficulties. It's also an extremely short and, with the simpler AI compared to the arcade version, easy game, so it might not necessarily be for everybody and maybe a game you should only pick up on the cheap for your Mega Drive if you're going in blind.
